I'm on you with that one, Maria. There is hardly any picture where she is NOT walking infront of Fred. I just don't get it. What horrible spectacle, once she will be the CONSORT!!!!  |

Thanks for the pics Hanzo!  I like that dress but I can't help but think it would look better on a taller person like Mathilde. I think Mares walks ahead of Fred because she: thinks she's the star or cant stand him and feels the need to be as separate from him as possible or both |

I hate to sound crude but I've seen drag queens in Soho who look more feminine in that strapless dress than Mary! To begin with the entire dress screams "Bordello Broad" and the way she has worn her shawl is just tacky.
IMO the first appearance looked a lot better with the black cardigan.
The day dress was nice enough, but she over-accessorised (once again) and just looks incredibly bored and haggard.

Wonder whether C&C and M&F will meet, being in Budapest at the same time. WOuld be good to see a pic of them together. - Love ME's brown dress, it's very nice. Don't like the shawl business with the other dress; looks so fake and pretentious. But that's Mary, isn't it.

Well, that's when class shows through  It seems like Mary has to compensate out of her own insecurity...and even more so since Marie stepped on the floor. She seems to be jealous of Marie's carefreeness and ability to fit in the family without working too hard on it, the bond Marie is already sharing with Henry sen. and the obvious happiness Marie is sharing with her husband. And I bet it will get worse in time. At the moment it seems that Marie is doing everything right, what Mary is doing wrong. |
