Marie's dress seems to be a tad loose around the middle.................can we expect an announcement in a month or so  Actually she has been wearing loose fitting clothes since Mexico I'm not sure if I like her gown or not..............at least its different, love her hair w/that beautiful tiara I have never liked the Icons hair draped across her forehead..........I keep waiting for her to brush it away----but then again it probably has so much hair spray it couldn't move.......is her necklace pearls or diamonds ?? Can anyone see what Marie's necklace is ?? Or if she is wearring earrings?? Linda, that is the same necklace she wore at the New Year's event in the beginning of the year. It is a sapphire & diamond brooche/pendant. The pendant/brooche belonged to Queen Alexandrine. She left it directly to Queen Ingrid, and Queen Margrethe inherited it from her mother. Furthermore that the family brooches were not given at the christenings but were gifts from the Queen when her daughters-in-law gave birth to the children. Is it to assume then that this pin/pendant was given to Princess Marie at the Christening of Prince Henrik (just like CP Mary received another beautiful brooch at her son's christening; Mary's present was also diamond and sapphire IIRC)?    |

 Someone on the sugarboard says that she sees a belly on Mary, and that there should be some "happy" news in a few days and an announcement and now that post has been quickly edited to the dress looked good on Mary 6 years ago but now "something" is not right. Yeah the "something" not being right is that Mary Boganlyn is wearing it.  If there's a stomach then girlfriend forgot to put on her spanx.  |

Did anyone find mention of Alex & Martin being on the guest list....................I would love to see Alex wear the famous Alexandra Tiara, it always looked so good on her, its a shame she doesn't get invited to functions where she can wear this beautiful Tiara..................I still miss seeing Alex (NOT Martin) at fancy dinners.

Thanks, Pede.................your right its the same necklacee/pin...............only this time it looks good with this gown.................and she honors the Queen by wearing it (smart girl)...............but then again Joachim is no dummy................and Marie doesn't exactly havee a lot of jewelry to choose from

ITA PeDe, I think Mosh is waiting to pull out some big guns for the parties and dinners in front of all the other royals...she wouldn't "waste" something new on the invitees from their government!! I also agree with everyone about Marie; the overall look is very nice especially her hair, but I wish her dress was more tailored to her body. Hmmm...maybe there is an announcement pending!! Oh yes, I think even Moshy looks very nice but I definitely liked this dress better when she had her hair down, prior to the wedding.

I miss seeing Alex too! However, her days of wearing the Alexandrine tiara are over since she's no longer a princess. But Alex always outshone everyone else in her evening dresses (her day outfits were pretty bad for the most part) |
