I decided not to put the ski-vacation tally on the spreadsheet, because the spread sheet is a summary of what Yrma spends, and according to sources the whole vacation was a birthday gift to her from Derf.

If we find anything else on her spenditure, please list with the price, so I can add it. Our lovely Yrma managed to spend *drum roll please* $90,060.23 in two months....TATAAAAAAAAA

The money spent on the Birkin bag that Mary is sporting at the EEU would have fed 14,000 Somali children for a week.

You people are just so mean!  This woman is attending very important meetings every single day and is very hard-working and as a result she needs a very expensive bag to put all the papers she carries in it!!  Think what an excellent ambassador she is of Denmark! How dare you accuse her of spending a lousy $60,000 on bag? She never buys anything so we should all show some understanding! 

Anyway aside from the fun above, I frankly have no idea at all how can this woman spend so much money!!  It's like she just can't get enough!!! They get an allowance, but aside from personal expenses, that is for paying the staff they hire and so on.

This is just an extremely extravagant style! Don't they have any advisors to actually tell them that this looks really bad!! Why do you need to get a lavish 3 week long birthday party? Ok, you only turn 40 once, but can't you just get a weekend or a week? Why almost 3 weeks? And anyway you get a vacation from what??? What is it that you had been doing that had been that tiring? Dressing up and attending parties, or those engagements that last for about 2 hours?? Oh wait the week before the birthday, it was fashionweek!! That must have been so exhausting!!

This woman is pathetic. However, at least she seems to be a caring mother. That's something!

Really? I have yet to see any evidence of that. On the contrary, I've seen a lot of photos and videos on RD that show exactly the opposite. She only cares about her children that bring her the benefits, i.e. meal ticket (Xian), publicity and insurance policy.

Jessmie, had Mary wanted, she could have put all those "important papers" in a plastic bag (carrying hers and Freddo's emblem, hah!), and donated the money spent on the bag to any good cause she fancied. But she fancied an expensive bag. So be it.

Not really. My signature is a perfect example of Mary's caring parenting.  Isabella was limping that day.  Mary shoves her in the back to get her out of the baptismal font.  When little Izzy stumbles from the shove, Mary's first reaction is not to see if her daughter is ok.  She straightens her skirt.  She's no mother of the year, IMO.

How can you spend that much money on a coat?  What's the justification?  If she had done one appointement a day, I could overlook it, but what's the point?  If it was for "work" it would be more acceptable but we're talking about her freetime.  Has she lost touch with reality?

It is really quite hypocritical to parade yourself in poor countries saying how much you care and most importantly, how much you think OTHER PEOPLE should care and then wear the most inaccesible designers, and go on holiday to the most exotic places.
We have also seen Kate and Wills saying the same, yet they were off recently on a holiday skiing to France (at least this was better because it seemed to have been paid by Kate's parents, yet I bet all the security staff that goes with them costs as much as you'd need to feed an entire village for a year in the Corn of Africa!)
