Not asking about any particular rumor, but if y'all had to guess, do you think Freddles has been a faithful husband so far? It's interesting that a lot of the warning signs are there with Freddy - history of cheating, spoiled, selfish, doesn't seem to respect women - but OTOH, F&M are still at it with the PDA, so he must be doing something right

I don't think she really cares what he does as long as she has the money to spend and the title. She'll look the other way as long as nothing is public.Even then I think she'll play the hurt wife in public for sympathy.

I don't think he's been faithful for a long time. He's too juvenile to have an adult relationship. Besides looking at Mare naked would be vomit inducing

Maybe they have a Carl/Silvia understanding?
After seeing him at the nightclub before the twins Christening, I personally have some reservations.
What do you think Cloaked?

Freddo is a natural born cheater and has always been - and still is . I think Meary thought she would be able to stop it - that marriage/herself/kids would be enough for him. Well well...

I think that as long as Freddles isn't caught red-handed (like he practically was a few nights before the twins' christening) causing her public embarrassment, then Mary is on some level happy to put up with whatever in exchange for Prada, Prada, a few holidays....and some more Prada. IMO, that's why she looked so cut-up at the Christening - her marriage had been outed in the tabloids as being less-than-Disney-Princess-material. And that hurts her more than the actual indiscretion.

I think Mary knows it and lives with it. Beeing in the public, having access to designer clothes and accesories it much more important to her....

Good thread, My13! Of course, I don't know anything with 100% certainty, but I've just heard so many very credible-sounding stories from different sources who do not know each other. And then there are the photos and videos. it's like my husband says, where there's smoke, there's usually fire. He's just been in too many compromising positions - at Karriere Bar with a brunette, on a boat in Aus witha brunette, in a nigthclub with a blonde, talking to a naked DJ, etc., etc. I've not heard of any other CPs being captured in those situations. In fact, the only other royal to be is our good friend up in Sweden - and look how that turned out It also fits well with his "Poor Me" world view - he thinks the world owes him something because of his "terrible" childhood and the difficult position he's in. In that sense, I think he feels he is justified in doing whatever he wants to please himself and even his wife, kids, etc just have to deal with it. He is a spoiled, selfish brat! I've always thought that and therefore, I would not surprise me one bit if this guy was seeing more action than a Jerry Bruckheimer film!

I think he has been seen in too many situations that arouse suspicion. One maybe, two small chance, but three or more, and looks like a pattern. I think Mary likes her position, and so tolerates his behaviour, but I think it grates on herbecause of her ego. It would be hard for any spouse to put up with at any rate, she could choose not to accept it. She just couldn't choose fame and publicity at the same time.

My thoughts exactly, Butterbean! And do think that Mary will choose the title and the attention over a more quiet life as the ex-wife of a Crown Prince and mother to the future queen. Let's face it, despite her best efforts, she's no Diana and the international press will have even less interest in her after a divorce than they have now. She would also miss out on the perks of state visits, etc and other galas and I think that's what she lives for. She will still have a comfortable existence of course and even less work than now, but I think she loves the spotlight and the red carpet more than anything and would only give it up if she had no other choice.

Has he cheated? Of course Does she know? Yes, but maybe not about all affairs Has she forgive him? No. She looks like she doesn't care but deeply in her heart (yes, she still has heart) she 's very unhappy What she' ll do/ Nothing, until it will become public news (we remember how cold they were toward each other during christening after blonde-scandal). If press will find out his mistress Mary will be play betrayed wife with 4 kids.

I do think he has played and is playing away, Fred is immature, boyish, most probably charming, but like in the late teenage years, where when things go right a boy/man is sweet, but as with teenagers on the brink of manhood , the child part when things go wrong, can be right little pricks, thinking no one but them have feelings. I think with Fred , the fun is in the chase of the woman, but once he beds her, that's it, Mary can then separate the fact that it's a one Nighter/fling and not a long term mistress that could put her position in danger, she must know the switch in Fred's personality when the chase is on, she knows it will blow over, when it does for a few months the power is in her court, and they get on well together, swings and round abouts , and in that circle were she moves , most of the ladies advice if she was to go looking would be" close your eyes, don't make a fuss" she has lifestyle she could never of dream of, titled, and well thought of in the Danish press, she is going no where. It is quite amazing to see even here among my own friends and co workers, what people do to see a wrong as a alright, to make a case for staying, and not a case for going, to see their husband/boyfriend staying with them after playing away as a victory for them, so in that case if they can do, Mary can, wouldn't be my choice, but then I married for love next time I'll marry for lust and third time for money Fred might be free around that time
