Possible but I doubt it. They have to get pics of the family members coming to see the baby and all that.

Congratulations, Marie & Jokke. I was hoping for a girl. Can't wait to see photos!
Lucky girl, too. Born the first day of the Year of the Dragon! Very auspicious!!  Thumb up

And even more - a Water Dragon! They only occur every 60 years apparently! They thrive near water.

So Freddles will have a niece he can relate to! Perhaps she will help mend the relationship with Jokke and Marie ....

Yes, under the Chinese Zodiac every 5th year of the Dragon is the special "Water Dragon" year.

Babies born in this year retain all the qualities of the Dragon. "Dragons are driven, unafraid of challenges, and willing to take risks. They’re passionate in all they do and they do things in grand fashion" - and, as Water Dragons - are said to have the "softening" characteristics of humility and introspection.

BTW the twins are Tigers. "Born to lead, Tigers can be stubborn if they realize they’re not in charge. They have a slight tendency to be selfish but overall, Tigers are extremely generous. They’re very intelligent and they’re always on alert. Tigers are very charming and are well-liked by others. They are not motivated by money or power."

Izzy is a Pig (oh dear mosh won't like that!) - but ironically (given the connotation) pigs are considered generous, honest and compassionate. "Pigs seek peace and will do what is necessary to maintain it. This trait, while admirable, sometimes makes it easy for others to take advantage of Pigs. Pigs are always doing for others, helping anyway they can, but rarely will they ask others for help" - I think we've already observed that Izz is very much UNlike her mother in so many ways!!

X'n is a Rooster! Ha. "Roosters are extremely sociable and prefer being the center of attention, always bragging about themselves and their accomplishments. They continually seek the unwavering attention of others which can be annoying."

I think there might be something to the Chinese Zodiac!!

Quoted bits taken from here:  http://www.chinesezodiac.com/calculator.php - you can go to this site, put in your birth date and find out which Chinese Zodiac sign you are if you don't already know! I am a Snake and have to say I do relate to many of the sign's characteristics.

Firstly congrats to the parents and brothers on the arrival of a little girl. Champagne

A couple of things I have been wondering about since Mary started to produce babies, is not naming the new arrival for 3 months a Danish thing or the Lutheran Church policy?Huh?

In all the Baptisms and Naming ceremonies I have been to have been about welcoming the new bub into the church or the family/extended family. In most cases (and I do have umpteen nieces & nephews apart from my own children, whose Naming Ceremony or Baptism I have attended) the new bub’s name was known weeks or months before the ceremonies and nowadays with modern technology sometimes even  months before the birth.
Sometimes parents will gladly disclose the sex of the expected bub but like to keep the name a secret until the birth as a surprise for family and friends.

Anyway I can’t remember ever not knowing the name of a child before either a religious or civil ceremony

I would respect them so much if they left the hospital right away, but I doubt that will happen.
