The truth is not simply what you think it is; it is also the circumstances in which it is said, and to whom, why, and how it is said.

I would respect them so much if they left the hospital right away, but I doubt that will happen.
I personally think it is much better for the mother and the baby if they can stay at least a day or two. Why should Marie take a less healthy alternative for herself and her baby just to prove a point?

"She isnīt wearing ANYTHING", said a young child
The empress shuddered, for she knew that they were right, but she thought, "The procession must go on!" She carried herself even more proudly, and the chamberlains walked along behind carrying the train that wasn't there.

OMG Joachim looks to be in pure bliss - I am sure he loves his boys but a father-daughter bond is so special, no?

Why should Marie take a less healthy alternative for herself and her baby just to prove a point? Because if every other mother in Denmark is forced into taking the "less healthy alternative" then why shouldn't she be? Or any royal for that matter. If it really is less healthy, then it shouldn't be done. But if it has to be done for some, then it should be done for all.

He does , he looks 10 years younger, on a side note and not to ruin the moment , but I wonder does Alex feel a twinge that it's a girl? Especially since she is past child baring days.

Well I am happy that she is finally and safely here and that is is a girl!
I remember reading that a psychic said Joachim would have a daughter and it would not be with Alex.

And also said he would have a daughter with a foreign born woman- so it's OK now

News of the arrival puts a smile on my face this morning, in particular because I KNEW it would be a girl!!
I think this child is going to be a real beauty, both in and out. And, while not trying to provoke negative remarks about other DRF children, I suspect the parenting style of Marie and Jokke will be obvious in a very positive way in both her and her brother (and fingers crossed... other siblings, too!)
