Another thing is that I suspect that MII's death and Fred's ascension to the throne will bring the brothers closer again, if anything. Fred will not turn to Mary for advice because he's on to her camera-whoring ways and wants no part of it. The grey men will be just as in charge as Fred, because he will be hopeless without them. Therefore, he will turn to the only person who both understands him and is on his fully and that is Joachim. The grey men are also commoners and with an agenda - they are more loyal to the institution of monarchy than they are to the reigning monarch in question. Mary's only in it for herself, not even for Fred. Joachim cares about the role and the history of his family and will want to protect that along with his brother. Something tells me he will dig deep and remember what they shared growing up and put these last turbulent years between the brothers behind him.

I agree with everything you stated. Joachim is incredibly proud of his heritage and I don't think he will stand idly by and let Mary destroy it in one generation. Fred and Jokke's relationship appears to be getting better with the help of Marie. As weak as Fred currently is, I still hope that when the time comes he will be able to step into his role and wear the crown with pride and strength. Jokke will be a good advisor to Fred if Fred will allow it. It would do Christian a world of good to be around his paternal uncle and cousins more and around the bogan relations less. Someone has to prepare this kid for his future and right now I can't see either parent being able to do that job.

And now you're one step closer to 500, SQ!  Star

I hadn't even thought as far as Christian, although what you say makes perfect sense. Joachim would make a better role model in that sense and let's hope that Fred has the foresight to involve Joachim in his preparation for a royal future.

Actually, let's hope Denmark becomes a republic before then, but in the off chance that the monarchy lives on, let us at least hope that Joachim has helped Fred raise Christian in the right way.

I don't. I'm sorry Blush. Jokke seems a very good father , a good husband, a good ex-husband, a good business trader (at least one who knows what he's talking about when he is in official visits) and his tantrums...well I saw them in cars competitions only. I don't care. My husband can go crazy when is about his second love  Wink his car.
I can see abot Froddo that  he is only a week, pitty, lonely man. Nothing like Jokke. I have only compassion and pity for Froddo. About Jokke: Good for you Thumb up

Jokke is good at fooling people. And about his business skills, he is in deep debts.
