I'm not getting why this would bend Mary so much out of shape. Her day will come. Admittedly, she and Fred won't have such a gala installation, but sooner or later she'll be wearing Daisy's tiaras and sitting pretty. It seems to me that she might actually like curtseying because it would remind her that some day she will be on the receiving end of such gestures.
Why would she be jealous of Max? The Netherlands is a completely different kind of country. And, frankly, given the mighty credentials presented by Maxima, and the other two wives, she'd be in way over her head there anyway.
Because I think Mary has a compulsion to be the centre of attention and she derives her personal sense of status from the social subjugation of others. The posies of flowers, the curtsies, the bows, shaking hands down the receiving line... it's all about status and esteem to her. It sustains her. Plus Daisy seems to enjoy all of the trappings and the traditional court protocol. This is what Mary has come to expect as a member of the Danish RF. Juliana removed many of the traditional protocols from her court and the Dutch royals seem to have survived with just polite handshakes. I've only seen W-A and Max bow/curtsey when they are visiting in other nations where it would be expected ie: Thailand.

At least a bit.

As far as I am aware of, yes, all 3 of them have brown eyes. At least they did last time I checked the close-up shots they got when they were in Argentina 2 years ago!

Gorgeous ensemble (and great-looking lady) ruined by the mismatched clutch and shoes...Pink and blue Pick one color and stick to it. the worst thing is that her outfits are always very expensive (dior, chanel, valentino...) and most of the time her look is I really don't get why you think her outfit is not nice! The suit is wonderful, the scarf is fabulous and the shoes and bag are to die for. What's the problem?? That the bag is fuschia and the shoes are blue?? Since when is it considered unsuitable or ugly to wear shoes that are a different colour from the bag? It's not like she's wearing different colours in the entire outfit. Just the accessories!! SHE LOOKS GORGEOUS!! does it seem to anyone else she is wearing braces?

And I don't think she's arrogant with normal people, I wouldn't expect her to be all happy and smiles when she's in a hospital or visiting people in really bad conditions!

I kind of like that the three princesses are all dressed alike - at least, the colors and fabrics – on official occasions. It 's a good way not to make differences of any kind, at least before it is time. In the future Amalia's role will gradually become more prominent but for now, given their age, it is better for them to be treated equally. besides, they are so close in age, and look so much alike (blond hair, fair skin, blue eyes) that it is easy to dress them all the same. Max and WA must be really good parents.
Giving them their own identity IMO, wouldn't stand Amalia apart from her sisters, unless we put jewels on her or such. It would show that she is her own person and older than her sisters. Well, at least to me.

If not sooner. 10-11 is usually about the age where little girls start to really exert their independence and where they won't want to be caught dead wearing the same clothes I totally understand the logic of wanting to present the 3 sisters as a 'unit' so they can have an equal upbringing and from what we can see, WA and Max are doing a great job making sure all 3 of their daughters have a nurturing childhood. I liked what they did with the blue dresses, where the girls were dressed similar but not exactly the same, rather than some of the identical outfits we've seen in the past.
