On Wednesday the Dutch Queen took her first official task, since the prince Friso's accident.

It was a summary Beatrix, on Wednesday, who was on her first official mission since Prince Frisos avalanche accident on 17 February. Queen visited a military barracks in Soesterberg, and here expressed Colonel Mark Kath Mann in his speech his deepest condolences to the family after avalanche tragedy.

Queen Beatrix has partially cared for her work by attending meetings, but she has not appeared in public since she has sat at her son's bed site and tried to understand the family's new situation after Friso has been diagnosed with a severe brain injury. Prince Friso remains hospitalized at Wellington Hospital in London, known for their expertise in re-trainingtion. The probability that the prince ever regain consciousness are very small.

Aren't these the times that make you glad that your not a public figure, Queen Bee looks wistful, and dutiful, but you know she is finding it hard, as one of our founding fathers Padraig Pearce said " lord thou are hard on mothers".

Our Bea is putting on a brave face. Way to go Bea! God made mothers to look after children when he was short of angels to do the job.

(One guy came over dressed for the rain - with his lunch box too!)

It is really stoic and brave of Queen Beatrix to resume her Royal duties with Friso so ill. Thumb up
Her thoughts would have to be forever crossing to Wellington Hospital.

And  Star Leesa, for your sentiments to mothers' suffering.

I've been particularly touched by the Friso accident as it occured near to the one year anniversary of my sister loosing her daughter. Some tears came to my eyes studying the look on Bea's face during her first official engagement in what she's likely calling the "After The Accident" phase in life.

I've come to realize a parent never truly outlives a child... a part of them dies when their child passes. I can't imagine having to mourn a child who is still alive in front of cameras. Just as MM put on an amazing show of strenght in the days following loosing her stepbrother at Utoya, Bea has earned a special place for me as well.
