Aren't these the times that make you glad that your not a public figure, Queen Bee looks wistful, and dutiful, but you know she is finding it hard, as one of our founding fathers Padraig Pearce said " lord thou are hard on mothers".
 , dear tiger.

Tiger - you said it best. As a mother, her pain is palpable to me.

I've been particularly touched by the Friso accident as it occured near to the one year anniversary of my sister loosing her daughter. Some tears came to my eyes studying the look on Bea's face during her first official engagement in what she's likely calling the "After The Accident" phase in life.
I've come to realize a parent never truly outlives a child... a part of them dies when their child passes. I can't imagine having to mourn a child who is still alive in front of cameras. Just as MM put on an amazing show of strenght in the days following loosing her stepbrother at Utoya, Bea has earned a special place for me as well.
post and totally my feelings for both Bea and MM. So sorry to hear about your sister's daughter. That must have been quite a shock for the whole family.

T!! You nailed it! Bee looks like she lost alot of weight because of stress and worry; anyone who's been there can see it in the eyes it's been said a parent will always loose sleep over their children: as babies b/c they keep them up and later b/c they worry about them. Will not want to be in her shoes no way

Thank you PeDe for the Beatrix photos and video. I agree that the distractions that her work brings her might help her get through this very difficult time in her life.
