FYI - the cake baker is Swedish/African, and this is his way of getting attention to female circumcision that takes place in Africa (and now here) and is meant as a protest against racism! The minister won't be sacked, she was asked by the artist to do this. As for feeding the woman with the cake - it's actually the artist head and it was a part of the art project. He was the one who screamed as if in pain and it took the people in the museum by surprise. Then he asked the minister to feed him with a piece of the cake. It only looks as if it's one big cake. The Afro-Swedish association have previously reported an ice-cream for being racist, an African-Swedish artist for her show (she used the word nigger about herself) and now they claim that Linde is a racist because he baked a cake to protest against racism
This is what the artist said:
"Neither my cake nor the cultural minister are racists. A feeling of disgust spreads through me as I'm compared with Breivik or my art is called racist. Ridiculous. It's not. I'm not racist..." He also defended the visitors.
