A nice series of pictures of Fred enjoying an outing with his two older children. The kids seem to be having a great time with their father and with the event itself. Their little red, sweaty faces in the last few photos are sweet. I only wish someone had thought to slap a barrette in Izzy's hair to keep it out of her eyes. However, knowing Izzy as we think we do, she might have had one when she left home but lost it somewhere along the way.
Personally I don't think that's the way it went. Or if it did Fred failed as he must always do then; a responsible parent should know this is how it would end and prepare for it. Even better: her parents should get her a haircut so the problem would be solved. She so often looks like this and it's their responsibility to take care of it. She's only 5 - not an age where she should be calling the shots on her hair like this.

Notice how everyone is a lot happier without you know who around. Fred can relax and so do the kids.

Most dads are oblivious to things like barrettes, shoelaces, and buttons. You can count an outing as a success if a dad returns home with the same number of children he left with!

A five year old needs her parents to facilitate her hair looking neat and ready to action. If they are not going to routinely do Isabella's hair then they need to have her hair cut in an easy to care for, out of the eyes, style.

Izzy looks unkempt with stringy hair, as always. And I'm sorry but her potato face is not cute to me. Christian is totally creepy.

Witch of a mother forces hen pecked husband to take their two young kids into the forest and let them find their own way. A modern take on Hansel and Gretel. Instead of bread, this time there wasn't enough apenage to go around so Mary sent Fred to take the kids away. But the father was too high to find his way back. In the end all three find their way to a sweet cottage in a clearing where a strange woman lives - don't worry, she's a "close family friend" - and they all live happily ever after. Especially Fred

Hate to mention this again, I do agree with most people that she looks more like Freddles but I am seeing more and more of Mary in her lately. I think she's pure Fred, and do not see even a hint of Mary in her, myself. She's not, IMO, a very pretty child, always looking sad, or tired, disheveled and forlorn. Here, she pretty much looks all of those. Christian is as odd acting (and creeping looking) as always. I still get a strong ASD vibe from him.
