A nice series of pictures of Fred enjoying an outing with his two older children.  The kids seem to be having a great time with their father and with the event itself.  Their little red, sweaty faces in the last few photos are sweet.  I only wish someone had thought to slap a barrette in Izzy's hair to keep it out of her eyes.  However, knowing Izzy as we think we do, she might have had one when she left home but lost it somewhere along the way.

Personally I don't think that's the way it went. Or if it did Fred failed as he must always do then; a responsible parent should know this is how it would end and prepare for it. Even better: her parents should get her a haircut so the problem would be solved. She so often looks like this and it's their responsibility to take care of it. She's only 5 - not an age where she should be calling the shots on her hair like this.

You could be right.  But I don't think we should blame poor old Fred for not preparing for a lost barrette.  Most dads are oblivious to things like barrettes, shoelaces, and buttons.  You can count an outing as a success if a dad returns home with the same number of children he left with!   Wink

OMG what a horrible sexist comment

I don'nt why the link/ video is set on "private" now. May be DRFgarden (owner os the video) doesn't want us to view and comment on it? Thinking

I am pretty sure they stalk this board, as it's happened before....a DRFgarden video is posted here, and then it's made private.

That is hillarious. I always wonder why they don't have any sensible assistants coaching them through their appointments - and have a short meeting beforehand, outlining what is needed to do, e.g. "Cut the ribbon, start running, make sure that you give the photographers a good chance to snap nice pics, this is all about .... oh, wait a moment, it would look strange if Izzy is standing at the side while you are cutting - how can we make this look better? What kind of clothes/ styles will the kids wear ....
