He looks like he enjoys being with the kids. Good thing they left mommy dearest at home.

They actually look happy and enjoying 'finding and running'. But again they, especially Fred, are always kind of look relieved and happier when controlling Mary is not around.

I didn´t think I´d ever say this, but actually the first picture posted really is the first picture where I don´t find X absolutely creepy. Hadn´t I seen him before and benn given the  Nerves by him, I´d actually find him quite cute.

They need to do something about Izzy´s hair though. Especially at an outdoor activity event, why doesn´t she at least have a ponytail?! It looks horrible and very Les-Mis-Cosette.

Mary doesn't play. If she was there, she'd be posing on the sidelines with an assistant holding an umbrella over her head to protect her kabuki makep from the rain.
She would not be engaging in the game with the kids as Fred is doing.

Yeah, if not a ponytail on Izzy, at least a barette to hold her hair to one side. She just always looks like no one has paid any attention to her.

The shot of Izzy standing on the side while Christian cuts the ribbon is heartbreaking.  No Real mad

So true! Why does X have to cut that effing ribbon anyway?! Can´t they just let him be a kid?! They won´t leave out any opportunity to point out that he´s special, will they?! By the way: didn´t Mary plan to "modernize" the monarchy beyond ribbon cutting etc.?! Great job so far, Mares...

Love the photos.  They seem like they're having a ball.

I do wish Iz had been included in the ribbon cutting. Xn is the heir but they are kids at the end of the day.  To reinforce that one child is more important than another is something I think - IMO - can wait a few years.

Once again, Izzy looks like she just rolled out of bed. It's obvious no one even bothered combing her hair, let along tying it up.  Roll Eyes

And the ribbon cutting, I won't be surprised if Xian becomes a spoiled brat of the worst kind when he grows up.

I think that's done, fts. I believe he is very well aware of it already!

On the outside F&M pretend that they want to raise their children "as normal" as possible, but then they have him cut ribbon with his granny and father at the official unveiling of the portrait. He knows what kind of position he is in, he just cannot fathom it, because of his age.

And believe me, Yrma has "explained to him" that he will be king one day...like his daddy  Roll Eyes

OMG that picture of X (and the painting) is terrifyingly creepy Nerves  Ugh.

The pics from today are nice, except for that stupid ribbon cutting.  Either Fred should have done it, or both X and Iz should have done it together.  Modernizing the monarchy, my arse Thumb down

It's sure nice to see him alone with at least these two...without Monster Mom around Whistle  They all do look happy and having a good time; but I kinda wondered one thing.  In the first picture, I'd swear that Izzy's shoes are on the wrong feet.  Those are New Balance shoes I think and I thought the "N" was only on the  outer side of the shoe...maybe I'm wrong but it sure looks like it.

This looks like complete fun.  A super challenge for body and mind.
(It reminds me of my sons orienteering as part of their Cubs activities out in the bush.)
For Fred, Christian and Isabella they are quite exposed to the photographers though. Thumb down
I can't believe that they are allowed so close.
The ribbon cutting ... Is it a new orienteering course that they opened??  Maybe next time Isabella can wield the scissors.

The countryside looks chilly but good to see the forest and everyone out enjoying it.
Isabella and Christian had a ball.

Star Joys54 - In the ribbon cutting shot it's clear to see that the N is embroidered onto both the inner and outer sides of Isabella's New Balance shoes. With so many photographers, it's my guess that they would have captured Isabella having her shoes reversed if, in fact, they needed correcting. So I reckon that her shoes must have been fine the whole time.  Hope my observation helps. Smiley
