Will Fred pull a "Charles and Camilla" on Mary?

I rather see them ending up in a JC and Sofia relationship.

I can't see Fred being seriously commited to anything. Charles was always comitted to "green causes", the countryside, Camilla etc and he never changed.

I think Fred is neither comitted to his future job, nor does he seem to be a great father or a caring husband. I can see him having one meaningless fling after the next and Mary will act like Silvia and Sofia .... she will close her eyes and pretend everything is just fine. 

JC and Sofia had never pretended that they had a good marriage, Freddles is no Charles either.  They are CG and Silvia version II. Freddles parties, has his booty calls, Moshy pretends that she has the most wonderful husband in the world LOL .

If even 1/10th of the rumours heard in Denmark about Fred's "extracurricular activities" are true, then they are certainly having their CG and Silvia moments.

Something tells me that he is too spineless to deal with ending his marriage, and as long as Mary (and Marge) allow him his indiscretions, of course he is happy to live this way. This works as long as he doesn't fall in love. If he finds admiration and support elsewhere, that would be a different story, but still I think we'd see him hit rock bottom, before he (and Marge) had the guts to call the marriage quits.

As I've stated elsewhere on the board (and I know I'm not alone in having stated it), if Mary makes it to Queen Consort, then Fred is stuck for life. No way a reigning King and Queen will get divorced. Look at CG and Silvia, still together after all that he was involved in.

I agree thrilla that if Mary becomes Queen Fred is locked in for life. He would divorce a Princess (after all, Jokke did) but I don't know that a monarchy could withstand the divorce of its King unless there was some serious stuff going down.
Now, before Fred is crowned I see a few possibilities. IF Mary cannot curb her spending & is public reprimanded more than once or twice, IF pictures or video comes out of Mary being horrid to one of the kids in a manner that can't be explained away (for all his faults Fred does seem to love his kiddos) or IF Mary has her own public toe-sucking incident I think Fred would divorce her. More for the last 2 than the first one.
He won't divorce her for love of another. He will divorce her for hatred of her.

Hello everyone, sorry haven't been on for awhile, but always reading what you guys say.  For sooo long I have waited to hear the news that Fred and Mary when there own way.  I read and look at photos of both of them.  I don't think Fred is anyway a soft boy,  he has a way and ways to him.  He controll Mary,  Mary is growning older by the months.  They only been married for a short time, she has everything, and still come out looking like that.  Mary still isn't use to that life style, I think thats why she over dress or stiff when she is standing, and too, trying to keep her tummy in.  Fred controll her, His mother controll him, at any point Ithink Fred can come up or plan something to get rid of Mary.  Money talk, and money is power when you are Fred.  But they aren't going to split or move on.  Mary want to be Queen and don't care how unhappy she look or she, she's not giving that up.  In her mine she came to far, four kids, and damage to her face.  She knows he may have other women, but do they have the money and fame as she do???  I don't think she's going anywhere.  Remember he married her, and it wasn't her looks, it was something else.  looks isn't everything, but if she can put up with him, then he said okay, now we have kids and be happy. 
  just saying it,  I wish he would get rid of her, but she isn't going any where.

I'm among the ones that think that they are the Silvia&CG of the next generation.. Fred doesn't have the strenght to live such a stressfull period trough a divorce, he is a weak man, in the beginning of their marriage he was her priority...and then X, Izzy and now the twins have replaced him. Something like the discussion on William and Kate, now he is the center of her life but when children will arrive in some way he will be no more the number one!
And for me Fred is the same...he found in Mary what Marge has not been in his youth, but then felt to be put apart...a kind of childish behaviour..

Milka, I don't think Fred is weak, He's very much in controll of Mary and what goes on.  There relationship isn't like most married people, and with Mary, she didn't come from nothing much. She wants and need Fred more than he needs her.  She's more in love with this life than with him.  If she could be herself and live and do all the things people with sooo much money can do, she would.  The only promblem is, she's controll and have to follow protocal of her going and coming.  I hope in the end he leaves her, but she isn't going anywhere, and he really don't care.  Fred still do what Fred wants to do in the end.
