I heard it from Maria, actually. Sho wrote that Trine Villemann wrote it in her blog. I donīt know a thing about problems between them - it is just a rumour.

Yes I also remember Maria writing about it. Don't remember which thread though.

I don't know the answer, but I have never seen Marie looking sad or worried or concerned or troubled or unwell or uncomfortable at her husband's presence. They always seem relaxed and happy and well-connected and that's quite telling, if you ask me.

i've seen marie looking away and rather embarrassed when her husband lectured a journalist that a royal should be addressed by the formal you.

I can only begin to imagine how embarassing it must be to have your husband behave like that!

I have a feeling that there will be a third marriage and a third, fourth and fifth royal christening and so forth and so on.  Nerves

No kidding!  I would have torn my husband a new one afterwards, but somehow I don't think that happened with Marie and Jokke.

I saw that on TV. Marie reacted rather oddly - she giggled and leaned away from him (over a railing of some sort) and looked into the water (I think it was water). She was signalling that she would have no part of this a-hole behaviour!

Interesting, but it barely indicates marital problems. Wink

I agree. I think this is just a rumor. They seem pretty solid to me.

Aha, so smart of you then... Well, we were talking about marital issues, so it was obvious what I meant. She has never been caught acting weird or being sad or worried about the state of her marriage. We saw them together only a few days ago and they seemed like a very happy, stable couple.

They certainly do seem like a happy stable couple.

Sometimes, however, it's those who put on the happiest, most romantic faces for the public are out to prove something.  Behind closed doors it's not all rosy.  Of course, we don't know.  I am thinking Seal and Heidi Klum for instance.

no need to get personal.  Nono

the fact that she has been caught looking uncomfortable goes against your theory. i do not know if there are marital problems. it was trine villeman, who is by all accounts an expert of the DRF, that has speculated on it because the series of official photos of henrik included marie but not his father. the last time photos were released with him was when he and alexandra had marital problems (yet they put up the perfect and happily married show right up until the divorce announcement). hence trine's speculation.
