I was wondering ... they must have mutual friends ... or? How do you meet a prince? Strange that CP moves in the same circles than her.

Not really strange, I think. Stockholm is a large city, but not a HUGE one. CP certainly went night clubbing, Sofia as well, they might easily have met at some "in" party place in Stockholm, where a lot of different people come. |

They first met in Båstad in the summer of 2008. Båstad is a popular vacation spot and the city is known for its summer tennis tournament. Carl Johan Bernadotte lived in Båstad. They were introduced by a mutual acquaintance, but they didn't keep in touch. Thanks. Isn't that amazing that CP after all the education and careful upbringing he got picks up HER in a lounge somewhere and they hit it off? Same with Hakoon, even though MM is not as bad, she was surely not the most suitable match.

I read over on TRF that after reading about CP's breakup with Emma, Sofia positioned herself regularly outside the door of a nightclub that the knew the Prince frequented. She had people inside who would call her and tell her on nights he was there.  |

I read over on TRF that after reading about CP's breakup with Emma, Sofia positioned herself regularly outside the door of a nightclub that the knew the Prince frequented. She had people inside who would call her and tell her on nights he was there. Can you post a link? I'm doubtful because Sofia didn't move back to Sweden until she started dating Carl Philip, and they met in Båstad which is hours away from Stockholm where CP lives. |
