I don't think Fred and Mary can handle X, Izzy and 2 toddlers and look both natural and in control in front of the cameras

F&M cannot handle Christian and Izzy. Two more would damn near kill them.

The twins are so funny here! And quite cute. And funny how they sit with their arms and hands exactly the same way. referesh my memory - ma peeps at about 1 1/2 my son was like a whirling dervish walking (he started walking securely very early, at about 10 months) & talking (3 and 4 word sentences).....lucky me... that was such a loooooong time ago, that I always have to stop myself and ask other mom's, shouldn't the twins be walking by themselves fairly well? It's not like Yrma had to be somewhere at an appointment, she could have walked them around slowly, and have them tire out, no? And she had a nanny with her. I know some children are faster and some slower...but just looking at Xtian and Izzy's history, Yrma doesn't really encourage them to move about does she? BTW...now, it's quite the opposite at home....once an incessant inquirer and talker...later on I had to pull the information out of his nose, ears, eyes....now, I'm an expert in mind reading, palm reading, aura interpretation, and my ESP is on "high alert" 24/7 Oh PeDe, I did have to smile as I read your post...and especially how you have to virtually "pull" information out of Raul now, when he used to talk up a storm when he was little, lol :hugesmile:Ain't that the truth...I'm convinced if Helen Keller's parents had a phone back in their era, she would have talked since that's the only time my two girls ever talk to me...when I'm on a phone call. But aside from that, yes these two at almost 18 months should be talking somewhat and running around like mad men. I know all kids are different and progress differently and to be fair, we don't see them behind closed doors, and even not much out in the public eye so there's no way to tell for certain. I guess I'm just trying to answer your question that at this age, this would for the most part be normal to do these things...for most kids, not all kids.

I just saw that the fire was lit at 22 in the evening. Then it's not very surprising that Isabella looks a bit cranky. It's probably way past her bedtime.
And apparantly Christian was in school when the prampictures of Mary, twins and Isabella were taken. So he's not missing anything.

Pictures: Crown Princess Mary seen walking around in Tisvildeleje with children Princess Isabella, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine, June 26, 2012.
Why does the Icon have riding boots on when walking down a city street ? Izzy also has boots on, and the Nanny has flip-flops on ? You can see how the man behind Mary is dressed. It was COLD that day, and had been raining. I don´t understand why the nanny (or family friend?) was wearing flip flops. So is she wearing a long sleeved shirt, an elbow lenght shirt and a vest or is the shirt one piece?? I have been trying to figure it out since these pictures were published. The jeans and boots are fine but good lord how many tops does she need to wear at one time? The hat and sunnies are overkill on a cloudy day, one or the other Mares. ETA: Ok now that I look at it again she may be wearing one shirt (cream) and the brown is arm warmers?? I don't know what's going on here but needless to say its not one of her best looks.

Aaaahhhh...ze blondz Creepy how Fred is having fun and dressed like a teenager, but his son is sitting stoney faced dressed like the dad and then you have Mary, who doesn't fit in at all. The DRF is creepy

Re: the twins & walking. My oldest didn't walk until he was 15 months old. Everyone was giving me grief about if but his dr said they didn't even start to worry until 18 months and didn't get into actual testing until 2 years old. If they're walking but not solidly or they can't handle walking for long periods a stroller is better. We don't see them at home. They might be going all over the place.

I actually see some women here in Denmark wear flip flops in chilly weather and even in the rain. That is quite a "normal" sight! Its either women who feel very warm on their feet or just trailer-trash/bogan type of women. I personally HATE when my feet gets wet from the rain.

And it has not been a flip flop weather in Denmark lately. I just got home from running errands and I was actually a bit cold in a maxi dress, sandals and a cardigan.
