A catalogue of Mary's failure and neglect to attend to her children's needs (physical, emotional, safety).

Unable to control them, they don't even want to engage with her - because they can't understand her accent/language?  Confused

Look how tense Mary is when the kids aren't 'perfect' for the tabloid photographers  Thumb down

Nanny holds/restrains the spare while Mummy has quality time with the heir

Mommie dearest makes sure SHE has perfectly fitting (in her mind) designer clothes. She couldn't care less what Izzy wears.

She seemed to wear those grey shoes for far too long   Shocked

Izzy looks like a homeless street kid  Sad no shoes either, she probably got tired of squeezing her feet into them  No

The photoshoot in Australia where toddler Isabella is wearing shoes with holes in them, and where she is filmed crawling towards her parents as Mary tosses a ball at her, like she's a dog.   Thumb down

I've never seen royal children cry as much in public as Xn and Izzy.
I think I've seen Maxima's Alexia cry once.

Mary has thick scarf, fur cuffs, leather gloves, heavy coat and is trying to look very chic in black. Izzy's outfit is all mismatched like random pieces from a garage sale.
And Izzy's coat is very thin compared to everyone else's. Mary was very preggers here. Must've been a December evening. Pretty cold in Denmark by then. Izzy's fingers and face are pink from the cold.

 Star for  great post PeDe.

No-one has ever seen royal children cry in public in the way that Mary's children do.  Izzy looks freezing cold, and utterly miserable.  Home life must be chaotic if we are seeing 'the best'.

I see Mary as the out of place one at the Ballet performance.
She is over dressed compared to all other people I see exiting the theatre.
She was probably using layers to disguise her late pregnancy bloom/shape.
She was self conscious about her size.
The kids appear dressed appropriately - Isabella could have been over tired or crying for some other reason. .. But, yes, there are a number of shots over the years of those kids crying.

Me too.

I just don't think she is maternal.  Which is perfectly normal (some women just don't want kids) but, unfortunately for her and those kids, it's her job to breed.

I thank god she hands those kids over to the nannies.  Yep, it makes her a big fat hypocrite but the thought of those kids having to tolerate Mrs Danglish all day.....  Yikes

This picture is tragic. Kids that age should not look so burdened and silent  Sad

Fred & Mary probably had a huge row before the shoot. I hope Izzy writes a tell all book!

Sorry for not posting a picture, but I have to admit those holy shoes of Izzy's amazed me, and still does, and yep, her kids are virtually the only ones I have seen cry as often as they do in public. Poor kids  Crap

So it's a case of Vanity before Maternity?

Or, is it, Vanity at the cost of Maternity?

The image below is surely the epitome of maternal betrayal?

And so Joan Crawford-esque.
