Her hairdo is a disaster and doesn't suit her and it's looking more and more like the one Fabiola's one  Nono

She did - at her time her hairdo was what I consider a normal hairdo and a trend back then - at least IMHO.  Beer Mathilde's hairdo simply makes no sense for a 40 something queen of the 21st century.

On the third day of Queen Mathilde's visit to Laos, the Queen visited the a community based pre-school in Kang village (Saravan Province), Laos on February 22, 2017. Queen Mathilde, honorary President of Unicef Belgium, is on a four days mission in Laos.

Is that not a very similar dress to Kate Middleton's?

Thanks principessa, those were the ones I was thinking of. (Still love and envy the reddish-greenish one on the sports field  )

Queen Mathilde and King Philippe welcome Nidhi Chaphekar an Indian airline Jet Airways staff who survived the Brussels attacks and whose picture became an iconic image and made front pages around the world, and her husband Rupesh at the Royal Palace in Brussels. Chaphekar a Jet Airways attendant and mother of two from Mumbai is one of the victims of the attacks on Brussels airport on March 22, 2016.

About the only positive thing I could say about Mathilde's two-piece gray frock is that it's very ladylike.

That tight belt made no sense. It actually highlighted her tummy. She should have left the peplum alone.

Elisabeth, Gabriel, Emmanuel and El?onore are the most appropriate and well dressed children among the royals, IMO. I envy them! Half of my younger photos make me cringe and have the same conversation with my mother:
"Why did you let me out of the house dressed like that?"
"It was what you wanted..."
"Well, you should have stopped me!"
"I did on special dates!"

Now, Mathilde... Confused
Why?! The top isn't properly tailored...
