Princess Ingrid Alexandra baptised the Norwegian Rescue Company’s new lifeboat, Elias
The two royals were at Honørbrygga in the Oslo habour to baptise the Norwegian Rescue Company’s new lifeboat, Elias, of which Princess Ingrid Alexandra has been made godmother.

The 11-year-old Princess and future Queen of Norway looked very cool as she officially named the boat:

“I name you Elias. May luck follow you and your crew in your responsible work along the Norwegian coast,” the Princess said before she let go of the champagne bottle that broke on its third encounter with the edge of the ship.

Princess Elisabeth of Belgium christened a ship
The 13-year-old future Queen of Belgium was joined by her parents, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde, for her royal duty at the naval base in Zeebrugge.

This wasn’t Princess Elisabeth’s first royal duty, though. In October last year she gave a beautiful speech at a First World War commemoration.

Yesterday she gave another speech before christening the ship, which was named “Pollux”. Last year her mother christened the “brother” ship, “Castor”, thereby naming them after the constellation Gemini, which sailors have used as guidance through history.

Thanks PeDe! Star

In the video, Elisabeth's handwriting looks a bit like Diana's, with the rounded font.

I think she is growing well into her role.

IA and Elisabeth are very charming. It's obvious they're both being well educated by their parents (and, in IA's case, grandparents) on how to prepare for their future roles Yes

Can't wait to read all about Izzy in this thread. Smiley
Of all the girls growing up in the RFs of Europe, can't imagine that Izzy will get her own ship naming event so soon. I lurve it.

Wonderful event! Very impressive.

Both RF starting with low key events, learning the job bit by bit.

I also like that Mathilde has only just become Queen yet is preparing her daughter to do the same, loved the bit in the video when she got out of the way to let Elisabeth have her photos with the crew.

You have to say that IA, Elizabeth, Leonor, and Amalia are very promising so far. If the monarchy survives that long and if they don't change, they will do an excellent job.

Elisabeth is always so beautifully and appropriately dressed. Thumb up I wonder where her clothes come from?
And I certainly hope she doesn't develop her mother's love for Satan Dead
