Thanks! I thought I had seen the flowers somewhere - in Turkish Iznik tiles! I also have several Turkish scarves with those lovely tulips.

Great ID Phina and Suzerain Star Star

I wonder why Victoria chose a Turkish design to Japan?
I don't think it's deliberate or is it? I hope she's not mistaking traditional Iznik tiles with Japanese porcelain design...
(it does share some colors with Kakiemon-ware or to a lesser extent Nabeshima-ware)

Thank you for all the pictures and chronicling her visit to Japan. Star

What on earth is that white top? Is that hers, or something they made her wear at the shrine?
(it looks like a white happi style coat, but if that's a happi then that's the wrong way around of wearing it. the top flap should go from left over right, not right over left).

If that's something she chose to wear herself: NOOO!! What were you thinking? It doesn't go with anything!

EDIT: Myloveforroyals have the id below. Star

What an odd combination :D

Still I think she should just turn and lay the left over right, because in Japan I think laying it right over left means you're in mourning, imho (might be wrong... but I read it somewhere, probably here actually?)

She is radiant! she is so present there so engaged I dont know who would prefer anybody but her for CP of Sweden she does seem to have interesting relevant events and the people around her seem happy so  Thumb up plus she has awesome wardrobe to this trip, for me she is not always spot on but this time I  dint find anything that I didn't like really

my fav is this one good combination of colors I dont think that the mistaken the pattern for a giappanese one is so obvious that is not one  they might liked the color combined with her complexion and the spring they simply just added it

This one is old, but I don't think it has been posted before: on April 7th Victoria had lunch with the Ambassador of Japan to Sweden, Jun Yamazaki.
