Tessy was just not acting very smart lately. I think she saw the divorce coming, tried to delay and wanted to portrait herself as "super mom" and make sure that people knew that it was not her who wanted the split - hence the over-exposing in IG.

I also think she liked the princess side of her marriage, interacting with "important" people and maybe she was networking very poorly. At least she was the wife of the spare spare - who was not even in the line for the throne. So she was a bit in the same league with Inaki, Chris O'Neil, ... there is no real female European counterpart, is there? I think she was a bit desperate to make connections.

The closest counterpart I can think of is Mabel of the Netherlands.  IIRC, Friso was no longer in line for the throne after he decided to marry Mabel due to some scandal involving Mabel dating a shady guy in her past (I think).

And look at Mabel.  She became quite a hard-worker and a high profile person involved in many causes, including that council with Archbishop Desmond Tutu.  It wouldn't surprise me if Tessy took a cue from Mabel when it came to devoting herself to causes.

Mabel already had a fairly well established career before her marriage to Friso.

Tessy and Louis are officially divorced :

Prince Louis and Princess Tessy of Luxembourg are granted a 'quickie' divorce in London because of his unreasonable behaviour
Princess Tessy and Prince Louis of Luxembourg were granted a 'quickie' divorce
The princess filed for divorce on the grounds of 'unreasonable behaviour'
They have two sons, Prince Gabriel and Prince Noah and got married in 2006

The proceedings went fast !

So Louis is blamed for his behaviour by Tessy as a reason for the divorce? I wonder what she is referring to.

did a quick google search and divorce-online.co.uk lists those reasons as examples for unreasonable behaviour

The Respondent has been violent towards the Petitioner.
The Respondent has threatened the Petitioner with physical violence or has been physically abusive.
The Respondent has been verbally abusive towards the Petitioner.
The Respondent drinks to excess, and when he is under the influence of alcohol he behaves in an unreasonable and aggressive manner.
The Respondent is financially irresponsible, and has failed to maintain the Petitioner and/or the children properly during the marriage.
During the marriage the Respondent has gambled to excess and has, on numerous occasions, caused considerable distress to the Petitioner by running up large gambling debts and dissipating the family?s savings.
The Respondent has formed an improper relationship with a woman whose identity is unknown.
The Respondent refuses to discuss the issues within the marriage with the Petitioner.
The Respondent does not want to engage in any sexual or physical relations with the Petitioner.
The Respondent shows no interest in socialising with the Petitioner and prefers to socialise alone with friends.
The Respondent refuses to try and resolve the issues and continues to behave in an unreasonable manner.

It kind of sounds like "irreconcilable differences" in the USA which is used as kind of a catch-all reason for divorce.

For some reason, since the beginning of this unexpected divorce I thought of an "infidelity " of Louis, because you just don't go of be totally in love with someone to divorce him. A powerful reason was behind and since she's the one always talking about I guess she was the victim, and the court just let her talk as a therapy, if was the opposite I'm sure she wouldn't have that kind of freedom.

Except that "irreconcilable differences" generally means that neither party is legally to blame for the divorce (I'm not an attorney but I think that's what it indicates), while "Unreasonable behavior" sounds very much like Tessy is putting the blame on Louis.
We'll see what shakes out...

This and her instagram posts plus taking the children to the US over christmas is clearly putting the blame on Louis. Lux is reforming their divorce laws at the moment making a divorce much faster, so they could have waited until that law passed the chamber and divorce because of "irreconcilable differences" instead on putting the blame on one part. Would have taken a few months longer but would have spared their children lots of rumours and mean online comments about their dad. What I do not uderstand is that she filed for divorce putting the blame on Louis, wanted a quick divorce but at the same time posts about how great Louis is and that she will love him forever.

Maybe is all part of the prenup and this way her financial, professional and social life doesn't get affected. She doesn't attack directly but gives room to some speculation, all without breaking the rules of the contract.

That starts being interesting. I wonder how the LRF will react ... she is long enough in the game to know that this will spark interest and cause loads of headlines. We don't know what is wrong but for the children's sake it is questionable if it was necessary to go down that  road.
