Christopher Reeves  and Joachim  I really have to protest at Christopher Reeves alongside Joachim.  I don't care how much they look alike (but I don't see it). That photo of Alexandra Romanova and Isabella is really uncanny. WOW was the first thing that came to mind. |

I always thought little Leonor looked like the Infanta in the famous "Ladies in Waiting" portrait, or "las meninas" as it is known in Spanish. Sorry, too inept to photoshop.

ITA for Leonor and the little Infanta Margarita!   Now that's what I'm talking about!!  Although now that I'm looking at the Infanta Margarita, little Sofia bears more of a resemblance. Did you know this Margarita, in keeping with good ole' Hapsburg tradition, was sent to Austria at the age of 15 to marry her Uncle. Eeeewwwww They had like 5 or 6 kids in about 7 years, and she always referred to him as "Uncle." ( double eeewwwwww. Then she died at the age of 21-22 because her uncle wore her out with all of that childbirth. Excuse me while I go barf.  |

Yes, it was a sort of custom in that family Margarita was already a result of a wedding between an uncle and his niece, luckily she turned out right in the beauty and intelligence department. You probably know how his brother , the last Hapsburg King of Spain Charles II , looked like with all these incestuous marriages :  |
