I think that Rania borrows her clothes and that her intelligent personality does not show.  I wish she wore her own clothes so that the depth of her work would come through.  She has tried to do really good work in that impoverished region.

rania's dress for the dinner (rolland mouret fall 2011) : for me not her best one, i quite like the color, but the top part isn't pretty imo

I love the dress on the model but it doesn't look good on Rania. Weird. I think it's her lack of hips that makes it look bad.

Jordanian prince Hashem, escorted by Israeli security officials and police, came for a surprise visit at the Temple Mount on Wednesday.

Hashem entered the holy site through the Mughrabi Bridge, a wooden bridge that was under international focus in December when Israel announced it would close the bridge due to safety concerns. Shortly after the decision, Jordan became heavily involved in talks trying to make sure the bridge remained open.

According to Maariv, the surprise visit might have to do with further Jordanian involvement in the planned renovation of the bridge.

The prince was scheduled to visit the Cave of the Patriarchs later on Wednesday, but that plan was cancelled due to the tensions in Hebron over the eviction of settlers from the Beit Hamachpela building.

Jordan's Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah, 18, held a secret visit to Temple Mount in Jerusalem escorted by Israeli security forces. He arrived at the site via the Mughrabi Bridge.

A Palestinian official told Ynet that the prince will also be visiting the Cave of Patriarchs later on Wednesday. He said that the visit had been coordinated and initiated by Israel and that consequently Prince Hussein will be visiting the cave's Israeli side.

On Tuesday, the Supreme Court ordered the national planning and construction committee to readdress a plan to expand the women's section at the Western Wall. The plan also aims to replace the temporary bridge leading to the Temple Mount's Mughrabi Bridge.

Four months ago, the controversial bridge was sealed off following an order by the Jerusalem city engineer who warned of safety hazards. It was reopened two days later after pressure from Jordan and other Arab states.

Prince Hussein is King Abdullah's eldest son and was declared crown prince in 2009. King Abdullah and Queen Rania have one other son and two daughters. According to Jordan's constitution, the king has a right to appoint his brother as crown prince, over his son.

Exactly. The criticism probably came from those (on both sides!) who dislike the idea that he was cavorting with the "enemy".  Thumb down

Thank God someone brought up the nasty comments topic
From the Islamic side, nasty comments were made because some narrow brained political thinkers and Muftis think that
Non-palestinians visiting Jerusalem is forbidden in Islam and encourage normalization with israel  Thinking I strongly disagree !!
I'll send you more details dear in PM

Now Israeli buddy guards were strongly required because, from personal experience, Ultra-orthodox society in Jerusalem
is a really hardcore one,  Crazy If you walk by them and recognize you as a non-orthodox or just a visitor they shout at you and sometimes
can be physically dangerous on you  Crap.
with that being said, there were also some extremists from the Islamic side who wrote misleading tweets and comments on the visit.
In the end let us hope that we're going to witness peace in the middle east.

He got security cause he's a royal and If something happened to him than all hell will brake loose

why would the ultra orthodox care who he is? and why would they do something against him? unless he is going to a place he isn't allowed to enter? I don't understand that point

Until I read this thread I didn't know that he was in Israel It was not on the news and no one care about It here
Good relation with Jordan is a top priority in Israel and everyone wants It left and right

Yes exactly he is royalty so for the good of both parts Jordan and israel chances of him having a contact with extremists has be canceled out!
Hanzo, Ultra-Orthodox extremists will start to attack you once you walk by them,
screaming: if you're not a jew "vaat" are you doing in "Y'israel"? they say that to European visitors! so how about an Arab wearing Arab clothes and known to be a religious Muslim, they do not care if he was a prince or not.
and Prince Hashim was going there to check on the construction work on the mosque that the Jordanian Awkaf has been doing, HRH entered the location from Al-Magharba bridge, the same bridge that Orthodox extremists wanted to tear down as well as a part of the mosque because they wanted to expand their wall so Jews can make a section for women.

So they won't do that to ruin the relationship between Jordan and israel, they do it because they simply are really hardcore, errm I have lived in israel a good deal of time and never was able to understand why exactly they attack people like that.

Please note that I'm not an anti-semitic in anyway :D I know extremists only represent themselves and not their society or cult.

Hashem visitedJerusalem but some of the news outlets initially reported that it was Hussein.

IMRIC Hashem is involved with the Waqf Board stuff along Prince Ghazi who is one ofthe King's religion advisers.
