the "authors" seem to have access to some very private and personal pictures...  

the photos are from the "marie-mentary" that was made before the wedding.  No doubt the photos came from the family themselves.  btw, on the additional material on the website, i thought Marie's brother was charming. he painted a very nice picture of Marie as well.

Wow Henrik Sr was a lot smaller on the first picture. He must have gained a lot the last couple of years. I'm actually worried for his health (or, as worried as you can be for someone you've never met). He must drink quite a lot of alcohol and combined with gaining som much weight  Does he smoke as well?

I mean, the fact that this man is still trudging along is no less than a miracle of modern science! I am quite worried as well, especially because I think it will destroy Daisy to lose him, but as he is now, that's not a longevity-inducing look by any means

this image bugs me. beside MIII there are photos of her initiation wedding into the DRF then two photos of Henri Jnr but NO photos of the older boys, and NO photo of MIII + Jokke with all the children... yeah, they prolly do have them someplace, but it'd be great pr, if they were next to her, so we could see them in support that they are one big happy family, as we're told.

Speaking of gloomy castles and decor, I'd love to be a fly on the wall and have a grand tour of all the royals' residences.  All the stuff you don't see, the clutter, the books on the shelves (or lack thereof), do they hang their kids' drawings up, etc, etc.  I think it's all fascinating.

Yes she didn't talk until she secured fred's wife place, she knew if she did any mistake with the press before getting his engagement ring she would be kicked out from fred's side. She started blabbed her stupid mouth not too long after her wedding day..among them she 'criticized' (not directly afaik) the way her parents in laws rise their children which made Dame called her a 'lowborn' as the result.

Personally, I think it would have been better if Mary had continued her 'no talking' policy.  For all time.  It's not like anything astute comes out that bear trap.
