Joachim participates and attends as patron the 2012 Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix

A pair of royal feet is the official explanation of why Prince Joachim threw his shoes in the middle of the Town Hall Square in Copenhagen. The Royal Family speed lover Prince Joachim had to drive without his shoes, because today he was the guest of honor at the City Hall, which was held press conference prior to the Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix.

If the prince participated with international drivers during this weekend in the streets around Fælledparken in Copenhagen is uncertain. Several hundred cars in aging classes compete for multiple titles and the tone was rough, but loving.

- This weekend, I recommend that people stay behind me, said the prince.

Joachim has since 1996 been a very active and committed patron of the race, which attracts thousands of spectators every year. But before he could put himself in his Lotus Cortina, he was trying to sit in Red Bull's Formula 1. Normally, the world star David Coulthard would drive it, but he kindly instructed the prince in the proper seating comfort and the accelerator sits. But the Prince leg was perhaps a little too long compared to the average formula 1-runs.

- My feet are too big and my shoulders are too wide. I am simply not capable of driving this car, smiled the prince, when he had heard and mark which forces the car has.

Well, the big feet and borad shoulders didn't stop him squeezing into the car! I think he's a good patron for the cause, but it's probably also very close to his heart.

Hotkan, too, kind of puts me off because he fell for MM. If that makes sense. But I believe if you're hot you fall for something either hot or really special, and for me, MM is neither. Definitely not hot and definitely not special. SO perhaps Hotkan's thinking isn't that hot, after all? Or, he knows of something about MM that I'm not aware of, which is very likely to be the case.

IA with you about Haakon, Leesa. Add in the fact that he is completely hairless and he does nothing for me.

Husum, 10. September 2012 – This year HUSUM WindEnergy is expecting high-ranking visitors: Germany’s environment minister Peter Altmaier and H.R.H. Prince Joachim of Denmark will be visiting the world’s biggest wind trade fair.

His Royal Highness Prince Joachim’s attendance on 19 September 2012 emphasises Husum’s long association with neighbouring Denmark, which from the very first has been a partner of what is now the industry’s biggest trade fair. The attendance of the federal environment minister at the opening ceremony accentuates the relevance of wind power for the German electricity market.

The number of international delegations also highlights the international importance of HUSUM WindEnergy: delegations that have announced their visits range from Argentina and Brazil to China. In addition to guided tours of the exhibition, the visitors from all five continents will also be able to enjoy a variety of peripheral events at HUSUM WindEnergy. From the opening ceremony on the first day through to the exclusive Windmasters Dinner at the Schloss vor Husum – the fair offers its domestic and foreign attendees a successful mix of events all centred on the topic of wind power.

We are getting so many of these wind turbines, made in Denmark.
They might power the world!
They are definitely leaders in this field.  Good to see Joachim supporting his countrymen.

Up close they are actually an aesthetically attractive piece of technology.
Thankfully we don't have to have them too close to our homes though.
And sometimes they appear a blight on an otherwise pristine remote view.

Motion Day is celebrating, it is now 30 years since that first time was initiated during the kondiens characters.

Just over 41,000 km back down the Copenhagen school children currently attended schools exercise day. Prince Joachim is the patron of days and so brought a little royal stardust over the 100 students who represented the Copenhagen school:
- It is so important to exercise, said the prince, who himself has boys who are both active. Not in running shoes, but in tennis shoes.
- I play a little tennis, but I could do more sport. Maybe people do not think that my own sports (racing, ed.) requires a good fitness. But it does actually. It helps namely the concentration, if you stay in good shape, said Joachim, who himself pulled into the hot coffee at City Hall while the kids ran around the Town Hall Square.

Later shared prince, however cups out to the school district, which had run long. The victory went this year to Damhus Gens school district.
