This week on Her og nu are actually convincing me that F&M are worried about Trine's book. Why else would you have a cover that states that Mary works all the time, never has any time off and does everything for the queen?

A really free translation of the headline: "This is the way, we want to rule/govern (Denmark)"

Maria, what does the cover item say about Marie?
It says "Ready with acupunture - Marie can give birth without pain". The article is useless and funny at the same time; they're obviously really waiting for the baby so the story is about how Rigshospitalet (where she's giving birth) now offers acupunture to mothers. They also mention how Mary got an epidural which Marie will also be able to get. Most likely she will get one - they just conviniently forget to mention that the fact that Alexandra got an epidural when she had Nikolaj made a HUGE difference so that epidurals has become more common in Denmark. Before Alex had one it was almost never heard of. But obviously we can't have that mentioned

You are kidding, right? No epidural in Denmark until Alexandra came along?

Thanks, Maria. I was hoping it was something a little more exciting...like the ridiculous tabloids we have in the US. "Marie's baby fathered by alien!" Or "Marie expecting twins via artifical insemination from Elvis' sperm!"

Not really. It was very rarely given before Alex had one - I hadn't even heard of it. She really made an impact with that decision. If any Danish princess were to be a birthing icon it should be her IMO

So, how are they going to rule Denmark? I thought ruling/governing the country is the job & authority of the elected PM, as people's power representation. And as far as I know, in a constitutional monarchy like Denmark, Freddy can only reign the country. So it's a bit delusional if they are thinking - even planning - to govern people in the future. Who the hell asked them?
