It just seems the timing of the request from ppe-agency is so coincidental. The board have had those photos with the watermark posted for ages. So why now, what directed their attention to us, and why was only RD targeted then?  Glad that I haven't posted any photos but thanks for taking all the photos down Thomas since PPE was apparently talking about legally pursuing all RD members if it wasn't done within 7 days. |

I don't doubt that there are people that work for the DRF that moderate some of the sugarboards. At Royal Forums, a member can write snide things about any royal but no one is allowed to write anything remotely negative about Mary, I mean come on, something is up there.

Really? That's what they were saying? They'd better issue that warning to every single royal board out there if they are going to try to pursue legal action. I highly doubt that they could forbid one board from using their pics but not any others. I don't think that case would hold up in court (unless there was clear language in their policies that said that nobody from Royal Dish could use their pics-which I doubt). This seems really suspicious to me. And unless they do this to other boards/forums, then they are being discriminatory IMO. We've never tried to claim the images as our own and we've never removed their watermark (or worse-put our names directly on the pics a la Iceflower over at TRF). Poor Thomas and Maria-what a headache this must be.  |

They just kindly asked us to remove the photos. I have done so and made them all into links instead. You guys post LOTS of photos   I'm sorry Thomas for posting unauthorized images from PPE despite giving the agency full credit. Thank you for all your hard work in keeping the board running smoothly.  |

Oh what a shame that P.P.E is giving you hard time! All the pictures agency´s are like detectives these day´s... I use to have a royal blog but got letter and phonecalls from two of the biggest photo-agencie´s, so I just stopped blogging! Got to scared  I also got intervjued in a paper about the copy-right-law- mess... So how do we do? Just post the link´s to the photos? How boring...but the copyright law is really boring. Or just find photo´s at a blog etc and link to that? Or put out the source...? |

Just by the way. Prince Radu of Romania uses watermarked pics (usually photo´s at him self) from PPE at his own blog- a lot! http://www.princeradublog.ro/A happy little amateur that is! |
