Yeah, if you'll notice, there's still nothing on the DRF website or Fred's and Mary's website about them going to the Olympics in Vancouver...but you can bet they are going.  Why not post it unless you're bothered about showing it due to your constant sailing and vacation trips this past year?  He's a member of the IOC now, why not show that you're going?

Fred was just elected to the IOC it makes sense for him to go. I can't believe they are just a few weeks away. I haven't caught Olympic fever at all. Sad

I wonder if Mary just prefers the summer Olympics to the winter games.  After all, it was the summer games that she pounced on met Fred.  Maybe she only like the summer games because of all the Slipp Inn tales the newspapers recount.....

I myself prefer the winter games.  The winter games have a lot of things I think are cool (no pun intended!) to watch.  Just my opinion.
The summer games are alright but I only really like watching the gymnastics--which they don't seem to show much of here in Australia.  From what I've seen, Oz coverage seems to focus on the water sports, running and cycling.   Wink

And whatever happened to "our children won't be raised by nannies; they won't have that kind of life like Frederik did when he was little".  Are Xtian and Izzy going along to Vancouver or will that be too much "time with mummy and daddy"...God knows, we can't have that!!??!!  But if they are going, they have to travel seperately anyway so why can't Mosh still attend to Fashion Week like she should and then they can all travel to catch up with Froddy in Vancouver?  The length of time that they'll be apart from the children is stupid considering it's NOT a mandatory thing for Mosh to go to; I'm sure the Danish athletes will fare very well without her "support".

I knew they would be coming to Vancouver. Yikes, well this is Mary's first venture into my homeland. It will be hard to find pictures of her unless it is from the Danish press because I can guarantee no one knows who she is.

Just your luck, Barrie! Im willing to wager that she will come in tow with the phototags....at least her royal staffers.....she will hire an entourage to make sure she is photographed....im willing to bet she will make sure they know who she is while in vancouver!!!

Norway and Netherland were normally doing very well in the previous winter Olympics. Does Denmark have any chance of winning a medal ?
It will be so tiring of watching Olympics games, afterwards, they probably need another holiday in Miami LOL
