Thanks so much to everyone for the photos. Victoria looks amazing, Mary looks blah in that colour. I can't understand why she goes for such washed out and insipid colours that don't suit her. My favourite - Princess Rym. Had to laugh at the photos of Mary and WA at the dinner. You can almost see Mary thinking "If only I'd met this Dutch dude first. That Argentine chick is wearing Valentino and dripping in diamonds". |

The rest were just okay with Elena and Cristina bringing home the award for the worst tonight.
I'm heading out tomorrow for a Cub Scout camping trip. (sigh) I'll have to wait until Sunday before I can see the wedding photos.

I wouldn't expect them - or any other elected leaders - lowering their standards just to attend this event. It's like another annual academy awards party: everybody watches it just for the dresses. |

More than likely it's going to be the Ambassador to Sweden who will be attending. I would have LOVED if Michelle Obama would have attended but that would have been highly unlikely. |

I don't understand the uproar over Letizia's dress at all! A slutty slit?? Really? It goes to her knees!!! If you call that slutty, then I wonder what you would call a slit all the way to the pelvic bone. The only thing I find bizarre about her whole outfit was the ugly shoes. Other than that she looks fine. She doesn't look as amazing as Victoria nor does she look as crappy as Elena. But inappropriate dress I just can't see it to be. It's not even as a vivid red as her Copenhagen gown was. But whatever. Everyone is going to have their opinions on it. I just can't see how that dress is slutty. You can't see her babymaker and her boobs aren't sticking out of her dress. Off my high horse now.... |
