As I have said, I was very disappointed with the choice of dresses of the CPs... Sad specially with Mary and Letizia. I know itīs good that they didnīt try to outshine the bride, but I wish they would have provide us more entertainement material... Spiteful Spiteful

And now, beeing a little more positiv, I think that:

Mary would have look sensational in the dress of Danielīs sister.

Mette-Marit, perfect in the dress of Mary.

Maxima, better in the dress of Cristina of Spain.

Letizia in the dress of Madelaine,

Madeleine, in the dress of the first lady of Sweden.

And Mathilde in her dress.

Sonia's emeralds would have looked better with mary's dress.

Albert could have worn Maria Theresa's dress.

In the videos, Maxima doesn't look as big in her mermaid dress as she does in the pictures.  She looks thinner and actually quite nice. Besides, her husband always seem to be happy and pleased to be with her even when her outfit is down right atrocious. This woman has charisma and an authenticity about herself that shines and actually compliments her attire - even the bad ones.  For people like Victoria and Maxima, their personalities shine through regardless of what they are wearing.

I agree Bystander; it is an important lesson for all women-royal and otherwise- to own themselves whatever the outer "covering"  I usually quite like Maxima's style even when it is a little out there;  I get the impression that she is simply expressing herself and not trying to steal the show.  And indeed, WA seems totally besotted with her which is wonderful to see.

I am a little disappointed in Rania because I think she has begun to go over the line with the plastic surgery-botox-whatever and has started to lose that uniqueness that was her.  For me, her appearance at this wedding was too contrived....puffy lips, tight face, too light hair.  I hope she doesn't continue the metamorphasis to the point where people start becoming distracted by her looks instead of what she does which has been awesome.

She had an act in Aqaba the other day and her lips look normal.

In the HQ photo on the the wedding thread, which is a close-up, you could see she was wearing alot of lip liner, which as an old trick to make lips appear fuller, so IMO she hasn't had her lips done.
