Do you think that Harry will give her future wife a ring of Diana like Will did with Kate? I think that the two boys in this way  want to link their mother to their future family
If he does this emerald cut aquamarine would be a lovely choice. I assume it was hers and not a borrowed piece.

The aquamarine ring is beautiful! She looks so pretty here: tanned, happy, healthy.  Smiley

IMRIC that was taken the year of her death.

It's strange but I believe that Harry will end to get engaged with Chelsy and this emerald ring will be loving on her!

Yea, and NO negative feelings connotations on this ring  Yes

I always thought Diana's sapphire and diamond jewellery were wedding gifts. How come she is wearing it in an engagement portrait?

These earrings were personal jewellry I think she got very early on.   There were some large "studs" of sapphires but these are not them. The major sapphires you are talking about were wedding gifts from the Saudi Royal family.  Please anyone, correct me if I am wrong.  Yes

If not on Kate, who should have the chance to wear this? Surely you don't mean Camilla? Who else is there?

I don't think the necklace is in the posession of William and Harry.  The necklace is part of a suite called "Swan Lake" and was sold by Garrard after her death to a British businessman and later auctioned off in 1999.  It was bought by a Texan millionare and he auctioned it in 2010.  I don't think Harry or William bought it when it was auctioned in 2010.  If they wanted the suite, they would have bought it the first time it went on sale.  Here's the article regarding the auction of the Swan Lake suite: http://www.dailymail.co.u...Dianas-necklace-sale.html

The necklace looks like it should go with the Lover's Knot tiara. Such a shame that it was sold. Its very beautiful.
