For MC and Tino to trot out with her it had to be something big. I definitely think she was pregnant but obviously something happened to cause a loss which makes me sad for her. In the bottom picture, she looks a lot like queen Elizabeth 2. Even withoutt he dark curly hair the resemblance is definite. Jeez, I love this genetic detective stuff! It's a bit like doing a jigsaw crossed with a family tree. |

Queen Frederica does look like a Mediterranean version of Queen Elizabeth II.
They share a great great grandmother in Queen Victoria and also Elizabeth's great great grandfather, Christian IX, is the great grandfather of Frederica. There are further Hesse-Kassel connections and perhaps even more shared genealogy that someone more knowledgeable than me can detect..
Both women were born in April, but nine years apart, so they inhabited the same world at a similar time.
No wonder Sofia of Spain and Constantin of Greece are so warm and close to QEII and Philip.
It is not just that Philip's grandfather George I of Greece is Sofia's great grandfather.

If Tats were pregnant according to the info we got in the autumn, how far along would she be? I'm guessing near full term. I suppose there is no chance she is one of those who hides it well through some weird-assed abdominal muscle tone...but no, then they wouldn't be denying she was preggers to begin with. And no Nick in the photos. Aw, jeez, I'm just confused now  Good to see you Mab!  Tatiana's face looks much fuller  I think she's gained some weight. I'd still like to know what that "pregnancy story" was all about I doubt she'll ever admit the truth (whatever that is  ) |

A lot of people find it quite strange that half of Germany is dark-skinned (olive skin) and dark haired/eyed (Influence of the Greco-Roman antiquity: Celts, Germans, Thracians (Central and Southeastern Europe), Carthaginians (Phoenician colony, now Tunesia), Sumerian, Babylonia and eastern Mediterraneans)
The more North you go, the lighter (hair, skin, eyes) people generally become (influence of the Vikings, and Scandinavian countries).

The Pregnancy story is getting weirder and weirder. If she lost the baby, I sympathise with her. As the Greeks act more royals than the ruling royals, I really didn't expect them to confirm a miscarriage or anything similar. "someone more knowledgeable than me"

The pregnancy rumours IMO have only the effect that they came up at the same time simultaniously when Niko and Tati disappeared. Therefore I have the strange feeling that for some reason the Greek royal family started the rumours themselves (Read: "I have another theory" further down...) to maybe deflect from the separation. I mean they knew the rumours were floating around but didn´t deny them immediately. And now that Tati and Niko seem to be "alive" they admit them to have been false. Constantine for some reason still doesn´t want to admit that Niko and Tati have separated and therefore forced them to the memorial event and forced MC to accompany him and Tati to the fashion show. (MC doesn´t care a bit whether "this woman" and Niko separate or not but did her father-in-law the favor until he has to admit it´s true...)
I have another theory: Maybe Tati was indeed pregnant when "BB" congratulated her but Niko didn´t want the child and was angry that she tried to make it public. Later he forced her to abort and she went to his father to tell him. Constantine kicked Niko out and is on Tati´s side since then. Of course now they have to publicily announce that she was "never" pregnant. This is the only explanation I can imagine why the pregnancy rumours and disappearance happened at the same time.

I had the same general thought, only the other way around, in that it was an oopsie pregnancy - he wanted it, she didn't want her waistline and her good time ruined a la Scarlett O'Hara. And while I realized before I typed it that the whole line of thought isn't very nice, it is just pure theory. I guess we'll never know. |

Maybe they were haviing fertility treatment, she gets pregnant, and afew months later has a
miscarriage, which can be quite common with IVF treatments, and went through some form of
depression and kept away for months. Who knows? But one thing for sure Tatiana's face looks
rather bloated and her lips also look alittle botoxed to me too..
