I think Diana tried to do her best to raise the boys in a more diverse environment but both seem to mix exclusively with Hoory Henry types. Did Will invite any 'regular' pilots to the wedding?
For all Diana'a attempts I dont think either have a clue about the common man. So they make it up and that's where unknowing remarks like Williams's have their genesis.
Hi fts this is what I found from looking at a list of the wedding guests there were seven members from C Flight No. 22 Squadron based at RAF Valley and their wives in attendance at the wedding. In addition William's flight instructor from helicopter training was also invited as well. His formerSandhurst and RAF instructors and current military commanders. The widow of one of his former military instructors at Sandhurst was also in attendance. Her husband was killed in Afghanistan. The sister of a Sandhurst colleague who was killed in Afghanistan. She'd been a close friend of his during their military training. From the wedding list it looked like William invited friends he'd known from primary school through his university years in addition to his extended family. Thankyou, I had no idea re the wedding list.

http://www.dailymail.co.u...ls-Kate-Jubilee-trip.htmlReports suggest the Duchess of Cambridge was banned from opening a Malaysian offshoot of her former school Says an insider: ‘With Kate coming here on a tour anyway, it seemed the perfect fit for her to visit. It’s a shame, but one can only assume that the Government thinks that having a member of the Royal Family opening a private school for supposedly privileged people just doesn’t look good.’
But it's okay for her to wear a necklace worth $70,000? Of course she was helping a charity, helping the less fortunate. She was working, so she could wear jewels. But opening a school for the rich? How could they pass that off as charity work? She needs to look as humble as possible.

I think she tried but considering she died when both boys were so young it had little impact long-term. IMO.

IMO it is a good thing that both have had the opportunity since her death to visit and work with people in areas that unfortunately are very poor. While they don't encounter this in their everyday lives, they are undoubtedly aware from these experiences that too many people live in appalling circumstances.

But it's okay for her to wear a necklace worth $70,000? Wow - the highest rated comments on the Daily Mail article are unbelievable. She really isn't popular one bit "Sick of the sight of her. Sick of this shallow adoration. Sick, sick, sick." "It was the right decision to not let Kate open the school. She isn't exactly the image any school would want for alumni representation. To spend all that money then go off to university to get a degree and never use it is simply ridiculous. The only degree Kate cared about was her M.R.S., she hasn't even put that to good use. Marlborough is better off playing its' association with Kate low key."

Kate is paranoid about wrinkles and going grey and worries about lines on her face and bags under her eyes as the gruelling royal schedule begins to take its toll. This is insulting to 99.99% of the world's population. There are children in poorer countries that have a more gruelling schedule. The fly that got trapped in my house has a more gruelling schedule.

We should write a group letter to the school and advise them it is best to totally disassociate themselves from Kate since she is such a poor role model.

Bother, I was about to look up the DM comments. I had managed to open the link about half an hour ago and hadn't read the article yet (was busy catching up with my daily dose of RD, lol!) I have only the "latest comments" but they're bad enough in themselves. Would have liked to go the top 20 best rated comments. Oh well, there will be another chance, next time she does something ridiculous. Which won;t take long, since I reckon there is stuff to comment on at 9 out of 10 appearances. RD admins recently reminded us not to paste reader comments from places such as DM. But I'm wondering if there is some way we could post small selections of them, so that the value of them isn't lost when the DM censors them (I'm guessing) after a phone call from Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton.

Camilla also encouraged Kate to wear a tiara for the big day, instead of flowers in her hair, to give her a more regal look. Isn't Kate required to wear a tiara? Even if she had a choice, Kate would not turn it down.

Even if she had a choice, Kate would not turn it down. A tiara on the wedding day isn't a requirement, many royal weddings involve a bride wearing a floral headdress, or a smaller jewellery-style hairpiece. IMO any of these options can look great, it totally depends on the styling and other factors. In the UK, I don't think there's been a bride at a major royal wedding who didn't wear a tiara. TBH, if Camilla had wanted Kate to regally tiarise, she would have wangled one of the bigger, flashier tiaras for Waity. Which would have looked ridiculous without really good tiara hair in an updo. I don't think we can source the claim that Camilla encouraged a tiara - it's not the kind of thing they would reveal. My lasting memory of Camilla from that day was the look on her face after the crowds boo-ed her and Charles, after they had spent all that money on the wedding. Priceless.

The story of Cams taking Waity to lunch and urging her to wear a tiara has been repeated by several authors...including Andrew Morton and Judy Wade. Whether it's true or not, I am glad Kate wore the tiara, even though I don't think Kate made the most of it with that lackluster hairstyle. Did the crowds really boo Charles and Camilla?? I didn't see it. Wow...that's kind of a mean thing to do on the day his son and heir gets married...I remember when Prince Andrew married Sarah there were loud boo's when Margaret Thatcher entered the Abbey, along with a couple of signs proclaiming "I Hate Maggie" I was laughing my ass off because I never liked her...thought she was just an awful, hard woman...but now that I remember the look on her face I am kind of sorry that I found it so humorous back then......

You can hear a boo around 0:55 in this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o6P1YbI0lIAI do think it was disrespectful for people to do that but they certainly have the right to their opinions.

Yes, the tiara looked terrible. I didn't even pay attention to it. I think she was probably dissappointed not to get the Cambridge Lover's Knot. http://www.dailymail.co.u...Mila-Kunis-magic-age.html19% of women feel most inspired by Kate and Pippa feels most sexy at 28. Any excuse to write about Pippa.
