I like the tradition. In our family every grandchild or child (boy and girl alike) receives a gold bracelet to his/her 1st birthday.

Engraved on top is the name, and on the bottom the birthdate; Generally, I don't like these "ID bracelets", but I love that the tradition that was started. My son's is so small  Cute compared to his big hands now, and mine has a differnt chain link though and I had it enlarged so I can wear it  Blush

Could it be possible that Frederik gave her the bracelets rather than her trying to copy anyone else? Such bracelets are very much the style. I think I've seen Kate wear something like it, too.

mary doesn't have the bracelet. The tradition is that only female decendents of Crown Princess margaretha of Sweden gets the bracelet.

that's what I thought too, but then I remembered that they made an exception with the bride veil as well.

Only female descendants of the DRF are allowed to wear it, and wedding day came....lookie-loo Milk Maid had it plopped on her bobble-head, hence my question.

But thanks for you answer Lille  Hug

True about the wedding veil, but only Ingrid's female descendants get to wear  her mother, Crown Princess Margareta's Khedive tiara on their wedding day.   Margareta got this as a wedding present . It never saw the light of day on Mary's head.   Nono Next in line will be Theodora, Isaella, Josephine and Athena.

I guess Alexia's, Alexandra's and Mc's girls will wear the veil and tiara as well?
