The Braganças are alive!!!!!
They are the cover of CARAS magazine. The Duchess says that she is very proud of her 3 children.

Thanks for starting this thread Miss Waynfleet  Star

I'll admit I don't know much about this dynasty .... they seem like a really nice family.

She's proud of her children?  That's the best headline they could come up with?

Don't get me wrong, it's nice that they did an interview, but the writers of that magazine aren't all that great at coming up with attention-grabbing headlines.

Caras magazine is the type of magazine that only talks about the good side of celebrities' lifes. Caras still lives in the 90's.
Besides, the Braganças are very conservative and don't talk that much about their private life. The children are rarely seen in public, maybe because they are still minores and probably because Afonso was a victim of bulying, so maybe he doesn't want to show off that much.

Caras wouldn't be the type of magazine to point out that the marriage of the Braganças, while stable, is based on the same premise as the Thurn Und Taxis marriage of Johannes and Gloria.

I have no doubt that the Duke and Duchess like each other, but their marriage sounded a bit arranged. Isabel is from noble families and that must have weighted when D. Duarte proposed and we can't forget that if Duarte wanted to have children he had to marry a younger woman.

Here's more pictures of the event.

Don't want to offend anyone, but I am curious. Why does the older boy hold his head up that way?

Actually I was thinkg the same. It looks like he swallowed a stick or something like that. He usually looks stiff in all pictures, not just in those.
