Rumours have it that after watching her new husband collapse comatose onto their wedding bed Mary stole into the guest rooms and shredded the red dress into confetti pieces.
Don't know how much is true.. but again rumours said she was caught 'red'-handed by Felipe, and their subsequent relation and lack of appearance at the spanish wedding lends some credit to it.... Thinking

I would like to believe that no-one is capable of this, not even Mary. I can however believe she made some remark about "upstaging the bride" which is the reason for the cold treatment. At any rate, I would love to see that dress again, it was stunning!

Crown Prince Frederick and Princess Mary were married on the 14th May 2004, and did not attend the Spanish Royal Wedding (22 May 2004) as they were on their honeymoon.  The rumour referred to in the discussion is pure fiction as footage shows the couple leaving their wedding celebrations, and not staying the evening at the Palace.

I like Mary in this dress. This is what she should have worn to the Jubilee gala dinner that will complement the Ruby set instead of the fugly navy blue dress  Dead

Don't worry, fairy. I got your joke and found it very funny. I had an image of Mary the Evil Queen sneaking into F&L's suite and cutting the dress while the occupants were...er, otherwisely occupied.  Tongue

"She isn´t wearing ANYTHING", said a young child

The empress shuddered, for she knew that they were right, but she thought, "The procession must go on!" She carried herself even more proudly, and the chamberlains walked along behind carrying the train that wasn't there.

Princess Mathilde

The red patterned Armani Mati seems to own and the flowery one in the top left-hand corner, she seems to own that one as well.
