Maxima's photos look more "real" to me than Mosh's photoshops, although NRF's recent photos have much more warmth in them.

Like Maxima a lot, but why do you need a 40th birthday photoshoot?? She's just the consort, not the head...just sayin' Also a couple of pics would be enough, not a whole set of portfolio modeling  |

and yet they look like themselves and like a royal family IMO Max is too photoshopped and most of these pics looks like the sort of fashion spread Mary does- celebrity style pics Interesting that they didn't took any pics with her kids and husband If the purpose is celebrating her birthday and life where are they? couldn't they fit among the flowers and great hall of the palace? It's all too selfcentred and indulgent |

^^Maxima is the most popular member of the DRF and has been from the moment that she arrived.You also have to understand that she as a foreigner has integrated into Dutch society.I think a decade of being CP is a nice celebration and turning 40 is a nice celebration.I personally think the DRF is using this and the documentary to sell the monarchy.

I suppose they do.  And very intelligent of them as you say she is very popular but it seems to much to me. But I'm talking as a foreigner and not a dutch so what do I know?  |

Thank you for the explanation rogue. IMO it still seems a little odd to have this celebration at the ten year anniversary, but if the Dutch royals think it is a good idea...  |
