thanks emily for the article! what a great photo Correction: May 18, 2012 An earlier version of this article incorrectly stated that Monaco is less than half the size of Central Park. It is a little more than half the size of the park.ROFL i can just imagine a flying monkey flunkie calling and demanding a retraction, i mean "a little more" than half the size sounds so much better than "half the size" of central park. nero fiddles as the country burns

Her position is not good in these two photos. She is pivoting on her knee and thus taking her leg off her horse. She then is using her hands to support her upper body. On a course like this if you keep your leg on the horse and support him. He will stay moving more forward to "meet the distance" that is to say find the right spot to leave from. It looks like she chipped in under the fence, that is to say got too close. They most likely took a rail which would eliminate her. It happens. Her upper body is slightly ahead of the horse's motion which puts him on the forehand when she lands, and can cause him to take a rail with his back legs. She needs to go home and work on her distances and position, then things will go much better for her. Every rider goes through this, she just needs more drill work.

She's a pretty girl but if she wasn't born into an aristocratic family she'd be ripped apart for being a waster - and IMO rightly so.

Maybe her heart isn't in it(riding)any more....that's the impression I have anyway. Charlotte also seems to be less and less in Monaco since her new romance late last year.

Does she have a proper full-time job or does she dabble in this and that? Is she an equestrian by day and a model by night? I've seen other photos of this dress, and I think it's the angle - from the front it's a gorgeous dress. Charlotte is breathtakingly beautiful, no two ways about it. She literally exudes sexuality.
You're right. There's a split and more ruffles on the left. She's a beautiful young lady in a gorgeous dress. She should be on the cover of People mag. It's a gorgeous dress but her poor posture ruined it, IMO.

Her job is to be Gucci's new face. She says she doesn't model for Gucci, but she does.

While it's true riders can develop back problems, Charlotte's slumping shoulders are not from riding. It's simply bad posture. Most riders have really great posture because riding develops your core (think Pilates) and thus stand tall with no slouching.

Thanks Hibou. It's true that most equestriennes-like dancers-have excellent posture and bearing. I don't know what went wrong with Charlotte...such a gorgeous girl!

@ PeDe ; I read that she and her horse are not working together and that she got eliminated - again
So she went to a competition with the wrong horse I wonder how Gucci feels about this

So she went to a competition with the wrong horse I wonder how Gucci feels about this I'm sure Gucci doesn't care. Just as they don't care that she doesn't think she's a model for Gucci since she is too intelligent to be a model.

Poor Alexandra - it has to be hard sometimes to have the looks of E-A next to her drop-dead gorgeous sister.
