Didn't Julia Roberts armpit hair at the Notting Hill premier cause a major stir (and a lot of media interest?)?
I remember seeing those pictures - it was much worse than Mary's as Julia's armpit hair was looong - it wasn't just stubble like Mary's but completely au naturel!

Actually I think poor Mary had shaved, but looking at the facial hair she has, I could imagine that even with dove-smooth skin the roots are still visible thru the skin. Nothing short of laser can solve this....

Gwen and Fairy-ITA. I don't understand why she doesn't just get laser hair removal for her armpits. I'm sure that it's available in DK, and it's not as expensive as her shoes or a handbag. I don't scrutinize armpits, but her dark hair stubble is impossible to miss, even if you aren't looking directly at the armpit. It looks terrible and she needs to do something about it.

I agree that just shaving isn't working for her. A lot of people with light skin and dark hair have the same problem of stubble showing. Mary should do a waxing if she doesn't want to laser.

Or maybe Mary was growing it out between waxings. If I had her money I would laser.

I have the same colours as Mary - more or less. Fair skin and dark hair. But my armpits most certainly don't look like hers. I'd say that she hasn't shaved her armpits in 5 days or so. It would take me a week or so to grow hair like that.

That pit hair is beyond repulsive It's almost long enough to have her hairdresser braid it. That is so funny, I just lost it! All I can say is YUK!!!! What was Mary thinking. "Gotta outshine the bride. If I do nothing else today, I just gotta outshine the bride "

She has a very strange frame here, don't you think? (she looks like a waitress and freddles like a ) I'm sorry, but Fred looks like a fucking Austin Powers in that pic. " Groovy, baby...yeah!"

To be honest, I don't give a crap if a woman shaves her armpits or legs or not and I think it's incredibly sexist to demand that a woman should do that. I have never been crazy about Julia Roberts, but seeing that pic has earned her my respect, for it takes guts! Rant over and pack to the main topic: The reason why it bugs me with Mary is because we get fed this bullshit about how perfect she is and a natural princess. Now if a princess chose to live life au naturel then we would see a photo like Julia's, as that was not a case of "forgot to shave" but simply "I don't care less". Stubble is a sign that you intended to be hairless but didn't do the job well enough or didn't maintain it - not exactly the good grooming "one" would expect of a princess. Kind of like just klipping your nails and forgetting to file them into a presentable shape. Shabby, at best.
