OH NO!!! Maxima's bad hair is genetic! The A Sister's are cute as can be but man did they get Mama's bad hair. Two days ago the DuRF attended the christening of Paola Cecilia Laurentien, youngest daughter of Princess Margarita de Bourbon de Parme and Tjalling ten Cate in Wassenaar as well And then there's this. I always tell myself that there are no ugly people and especially no children. I always try to find something special about everybody. May it be beautiful eyes, smile, etc. But everytime I look at Laurentien's oldest...it's like whoa....this girl startles me a bit.....sorry to say I just hope she grows out of her looks, and will blossom into a charming, youngl lady...also interesting, how the facial structure get's "milder" (for a lack of a better word) down the line. The youngest is cute as a button. She's an "interesting" looking child. I'm hoping that she will be a striking young woman after she grows out of her awkward stage and gets her unibrow waxed. She has alot of potential *positive thoughts, positive thoughts*

The youngest is cute as a button. She's an exact cross between her mum and her dad - her attractive Mum's button nose, crossed with her Dad's dramatically-shaped eyebrows (though they're darker than his) and his big, big cheeks. It's not what you'd call a 'classically beautiful' combination, but I do genuinely see some potential for this girl - I get the feeling she may grow into a very striking young woman, once she 'grows into' her own face. I think I've actually always had a soft spot for this kiddo, she always seems as happy as a lark, plus (and I don't say this to sound funny OR mean) she's always reminded me of a little Dr Seuss character (one of the Whos, or maybe Jim Carrey's grinch once he becomes good) - and for that I find her strangely adorable.

Amalia is wearing the same dress that Elisabeth wore in Belgium the other day. All I can say about this gathering is that Mauritz (or whatever his name is) is one good looking man! Changed my mind...What is it with this Queen? I just saw the flat top she adorned her head with at the opening of Parliament.

I think that all of the DRF kids present that day look happy and relaxed. (I do agree that the AAA team could use a few barrettes, but I like the pink on the girls. Alexia and Ariane seemed to enjoy posing for the photographers.) Margarita looks so much more content these days with her new family.
