I'm not sure this belongs here, but how many sisters does B have? I always see the Danish trio in photos together, but when it comes to B, I only see her with the one. I thought she had two or three?

She has 3 legitimate sisters. The one she's always pictured with performs royal duties and is a member of the royal house, i.e. in line for succession. The other two lead independent lives and I don't think they are members of the royal house. |

BTW you sometimes see pictures of her youngest sister, but as she is a bit handicapped (I think she is now completely blind?) she is not in the public very often.... As to the additional tax-income: Fabulous, how about as good Euros you use that money to get Greece out of the boiling waters. Should be plenty left for NL anyway...  |

Fairy prinses Marijke/Christiana is not blind, but has an eye disease since Juliana caught "red dog" (don't know the term in English in Dutch it is rode hond)  It was the reason why contacted Greet Hofmans and the rest is history. However, through medical treatment and special glasses her eyesight has improved. |

I don't know their worth for certain but a few years ago I read a listing of the wealthiest royals and if I remember correctly, it was something like 4 billion dollars (I don't know that amount in euros or other currency). Of course, that could be wrong, it could have changed since then and maybe it's not even a true figure because they might want it to be private. I know I've read that a lot of their wealth comes from Shell Oil stock but I also read where they lost a lot of money a few years ago because they invested with Bernie Madoff and fell victim in the Ponzi scheme. So I'm sorry, I guess I didn't really answer your question, but it's some facts that I've heard. And yes, they're one of the wealthiest royal families but I think the King of Thailand is still number one. |
