Max,
You should try to co-ordinate with Wax, he goes casual - so do you. Nevermind the Queen Bea. She has her own issues. Clearly.
Also, small hats don't suit you. Big girl - big hat. Nevermind that Waity wore one and looked good. She's skinnier, lacks baby hips and still has raging hormone hair.
And you might consider cutting the hair. Get an all over spike. Would look fantastic with your strong looks. At present you have a rodent frequenting your nape.

Max got the shape right. But the crap splattered across the upper bodice - GAH - seems a little bit War of the Worlds. I wish she'd forget for once the ORANGE.
Bea looks her typical windmill self - cluttered - overwhelmed -flapping in the breeze - like she took the drapes out with her when leaving the house.
Would it be too hard for these women to find a decent stylist/designer/dressmaker?

Well...Max hasn't been able to find some shampoo yet, so I would imagine that it will be the end of time before she can find a decent stylist. Shampoo can be found everywhere, so since she's failed at that task, I'm not holding out much hope that she'll improve clothes-wise.  |

I love all of Maxima's outfits on this tour.
The place is energetic, colourful and warm and Maxima's wardrobe reflects that well.
Queen Beatrix always dresses to suit herself - individual. I like that.
The whole Dutch crowd looks to be having a ball.
The photos taken at the music festival involving masks were the most interesting shots taken of Royals for a long time.
This is a great expose of these Caribbean Islands.
They are calling me to visit!!

 ITA about the strange hat. Why is there a hole in it???  The dress is nice and flatters Maxi's figure. Even though she's taking a page out of Mare's playbook with the too small shoes, atleast they don't have ankle straps that make her look like she has cankles. That's a rare occassion for Maxima. That hat looked so familiar but I couldn't place it until now. Barbie! My Barbie dolls a had a two hats like that, same material too. If someone -something?- like Barbie can't pull off then no human can. Barbie brings back so old-ish memories, I'm still a little bitter about not getting a Ken doll til the end of my doll playing days, and years after I got children and teenage barbies. When I first got him I labeled him a deadbeat and he never got to stay in the doll houses he had to live in the RV which I pretended was really a trailer park home because he had no job, car, or extra clothes. He got runned over by her cars too. Now I'm feeling depressed thinking about it.  |

I actually like Maxima (well...as much as one can like someone that they only see in pics and videos) because she seems intelligent and she's always working. I just have a problem with her hair. She needs to stop bleaching it, and like TLLK said earlier, she needs a good conditioning treatment and a haircut. She just can't wear it in this long, blonde style any more. She reminds me of this:  This style only looks good on a Muppet. On a human, not so much  |

I think Max is naturally pretty, she has a sweet smile (unlike Scary Mary), but she tries way too hard to be super stylish, it just makes her look over dressed and contrived.
On a visit like this, to a very warm climate, it's best to dress smartly for comfort than over-doing the accessories. I love those blue shoes though, the red patent leather ones look too tacky for an official visit.
