Royal Summer Retreats of the Present Day

Thought I'd post a little thread on royal retreats, some of the properties have been featured in this section already but you can feast your eyes again. Hope you enjoy.

Solliden, on the island of Oland is the summer home of the Swedish Royal Family.







Roca dei Draconie, in Tavernelle, Tuscany, is the holiday retreat of Queen Beatrix and used by other members of the Dutch Royal Family.









Mågerø, is the summer retreat of the Norwegian Royal Family in Tjøme.











Marivent Palace in Palma de Mallorca is the private summer retreat of King Juan Carlos of Spain in Mallorca.















Son Vent is the home of Prince Felipe in Palma de Mallorca



Château de Caïx is the private residence of the Danish Royal Family in the Cahors region of Southern France.









Balmoral Castle is the Scottish private summer residence of Queen Elizabeth and her family.







Birkhall is the private Scottish retreat of Prince Charles.

I never realised that Caix, is such a large property. It look like a glorious summer retreat.

Didn't Willem-Alexander and Maxima bought a summer retreat in Greece last year? Anyone has seen it? Have they gone there yet? I never heard from it again.

I was searching for pictures of Le Romarin -the holiday retreat of Albert and Paola- in Grasse but for some reason they are non-existent  . Also Villa Astrida in Motril I have never seen.
Anyone else has existing pictures?
