I think Marge is a twelve-year-old girl inside. She never really developed beyond that age. I have heard a rumour that she has tea-parties with some friends, and nothing wrong with that in itself, but the parties are tea-parties with TEDDY BEARS!

very tempted to agree with you that she is a little girl inside. Grin

maybe that the teddy bears have a particular meaning to her and her friends. could be one of these things that start as a joke and then become a tradition.

Re:  Hillary Clinton's visit to Denmark:
1) Is Hills wearing a daisy pin at her neck?  If so, is this daisy pin by Georg Jensen?
2) What on earth did Hills think of Queen Daisy's teeth?
3) Queen Daisy has worn recently an anchor pin.  I had not seen it before.  Did Queen Daisy inherit this pin from Moller-Maersk?
4) Finally, are the Clintons like a royal couple because their marriage reminds me of the marriage of Sophe and the ELEPHANT KILLER and the marriage of Sillybet and Phil?

Has Daisy left in the intermission and let Henrik behind in the care of PET-officers, just like Mary did it with Xtian at the soccer match?!  Whistle

June 10
Royal Couple celebrates 45th wedding anniversary

Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik is today Sunday 10th June celebrating 45 years anniversary, called Saphire wedding.

Despite the prestigious title of being royalty the wedding anniversary was celebrated in private, quietly and without much spectacle. But the couple who have just completed their summer cruise with the national flag, will certainly celebrate the day with good food and good wine, maybe add a few good friends and a game of bridge, at Fredensborg Castle, where Prince Consort will also celebrate his 78the birthday the day after.

It is evident that this is a couple with deep harmony and with still a lot of respect and deep feelings for each. Not that the Queen and Prince Consort display their emotions often in public view, but their joy in each other can not and will not hide.

Often you can even see the queen looking affectionately at her husband, almost lovingly, and it is also clear that the Prince Consort is more than ordinary happy with his wife, whom he did not hesitate to hug, kiss or hold on in public - or write ardent poems about.

The examples of the couple, despite 45 years together in marriage and nearly as many in their common job for Denmark, still has a good, solid marriage are many. Displayed there have been crises and disagreements, but never worse than the Queen and the Prince in the community has been able to solve them and find the glow and the joy of each other again.

- The horizon was in flames, said the Queen again about meeting and falling in love with the beautiful French nobleman, whom she met at a wedding in Scotland, and it seems that the royal couple will celebrate on Sunday their sapphire wedding and 45 years together in good and bad times, as one still happily married couple.

A married couple who complements each other, inspire each other, spar together, work together, but also provide space for one another and place of marriage, which was concluded in Holmen's Church 10th June 1967 - after eight months of engagement.

In short, a married couple who loves each other and who has managed to continue to love each other, since they said their vows in front of the whole of Denmark 10th June 1967 - after nearly two weeks of festivities before the wedding with several dinners at Fredensborg Castle, dinner parties at Christiansborg Castle, the festival performances at the Royal Theatre and dance at the French Embassy.

June 29
The Queen presented "Queen's Clock" to Royal Guard

The 21-year-old guardsman Henrik Lomholt Klejstrup from Vejle may in the future think of Queen Margrethe, when he has to see what time it is. At Friday's anniversary parade by the Royal Guard, he was thus presented with a watch by Queen Margrethe, the 'Queen's Clock. "

"The Queen's Clock ' and an honorary certificate will be presented to the Guards who was selected as best service, Guards, and emphasis is placed on both the good soldiers service and good fellowship. The story behind the distribution of wristwatch goes back to 1969, where the occasion of King Frederik IXS 70-year anniversary was set up a fund. The king decided that the rates of contribution each year to purchase wristwatches with the words 'king clock' and the respective year, such that at every farewell parade by the Royal Life Guards may be awarded a watch.

First, the king handed over a clock at a farewell parade was in 1970, and the clock changed after Queen Margrethe's takeover of the throne in 1972 its name to "Queen's Clock".

June 7
The royal couple begins the holiday with an official arrival in Aabenraa
They could have choose to sit in the car and just drive straight to Gråsten Castle and begin their summer vacation. But every year they draw in uniform and hat and come sailing with the royal yacht Dannebrog and will be officially received by a lot of people on the red carpet.

Why do they do it when the entire session still lasts only ten minutes?
- The royal choose the big official welcome, because it symbolizes a lot. I think it means much, though the royals are not there very long. It marks the fact that they are the royal family for the whole country. It is important that they appear in different places, so they are perceived as royal for the entire country. And it is immaterial whether the visit lasts ten minutes or two days, says Sørensen who is a historian and expert on the royal family.

July 8
The queen sent off Stallion
Roskilde: On Sunday morning, Queen Margrethe sent off the Viking Ship Museum's crown jewel, "The Stallion", on their summer cruises. This is the first time since the trip to Dublin 2007-2008, the great reconstruction of the Viking ship Skuldelev 2 is going on an expedition again. The goal this year is Hedeby in Northern Germany.

It's Queen Margrethe herself as having contact Viking Ship Museum with a desire to be allowed to send Stallion trip. Not only that she would send the ship away, the Regent also dsecured herself a place in the boat and sailed out of harbor to Veddelev, where she was put off. Before Stallion sailed off, a boat  reached the Queen to bring her back on land to tour the museum's archaeological workshop and visit to the Viking Ship Hall. While waiting several thousand summer-dressed people on the ship's departure. A departure as compliance timetable. Exactly at 11.00 could skipper Vibeke Bischoff yells "oars out."

The summer expedition is part of the celebration of 50-years of the beginning of excavation of the Viking ships from Skuldelev. Now The Stallion will sail around Denmark and northern Germany and on July 28 at 14 o'clock the ship will come back to the berth in this year's Roskilde Viking Festival. The goal of today's sailing was originally Hundested, but due to very little wind so is Frederikssund probably a more likely end station this afternoon.

honestly, I could care less sailing on ships, or taking a cruise, etc....but I would loooove  to take a short trip on this little boat Yes
