In fact, the next time Charlene gives an interview it should be in French. Until she can do that, she needs to just keep silent.

laboheme...excellent point about the two of them NOT being media savvy. That's where a good P.R. person comes in...but I don't see either of them taking advice.

I'm definitely going to watch Piers on Friday. Charlene is not good at all in interviews but I honestly think there is something else at play.
 For all Albie's faults, he does accept his family members, good and bad. Not all people can do that. And CHarlene should definitely see a therapist or hypnotist to get over her anxiety.

That is true ER and it's one of the things I like about him. Even his black sheep cousin Christian de Massy was invited to his wedding, and Albert has said awful things about what a screwup "Buddy" was...for a while he was persona non grata in the Principality.  

He is ALWAYS there for his sister Stephanie and for their kids, no matter what.

but he shuns his own kids.

I remember reading an article some time ago that stated once paternity was confirmed he did start a relation with his children. I know he has paid for his daughter's education and offered to buy her mother a house near the palace so his daughter would be closer. She declined the offer but he has extend the offer to his daughter herself since she is of age to move alone. As far as I know she is still in college but has gone to Monaco to visit at least 2x that I'm aware of.

that's also what i read. i do hope that he has a relationship with them but he still shunned them, trying to deny their existence officially (admittedly he's not the first to do that) and buying the mothers' silence (worked really well with tamara, less with nicole who insisted on an official recognition).

Kittyheaven and Hibou - i agree with ur comments.

These two need to stop giving interviews and listen to the advice of whatever PR they are employing.  They are just setting themselves up otherwise.  Why do the interview if you are not comfortable doing them in the first place?

They need to practice for next time.

Perhaps she is dressed appropriately for the seasonal weather in Durban.  If I remember correctly, this is the rainy season, and in a tropical climate sandals are appropriate when it rains for a whole lot of reasons. And the scarf could be something she will need when she steps into an air-conditioned building. In my years of living in a tropical and a semi-tropical climate, the less on I learned was always to have a lightweight scarf of shawl against the inevitably frigid air conditioning I would encounter somewhere during the day.
