This is why her getting photographed on previously private trips were ridiculous.
In my line of work, I come across a number of celebrities. Believe me, if they don't want to be caught by the papps, they won't be. That's why you never see Jennifer Anniston every day in the papers. It's not that she's holed up in her mansion 24/7. She just leaks information on her whereabouts when it suits, and keeps a low profile otherwise.
Mary and her trips to Huggies, the park, walks around Sydney - all would have been tipped off to the press. I've been in a meeting where I've seen agents / managers call a photog and say 'She'll be at [x cafe] in around 30 minutes' so the photog can get the shot.
It's all about manipulation of the public. Just because they are royal doesn't mean they are above such manipulation. Indeed, manipulation is probably necessary because they have no other talents rather than vaginal prowess. At least actresses and other celebrities have a discernible talent.
Excellent post, Victoria Beckham is another one who regularly tips off the paps with her location. F&M have demonstrated several times in the past that when they want privacy they can easily get it. Yes, all they need to do is travel to New York

Yes, all they need to do is travel to New York Or just about anywhere else in the world outside of Denmark and Australia. Everyone in the world knows the British royal family. The Danish royals are an entirely different story. Can you imagine how much more annoying and out-of-control they would be if they had the media power of the Brits?

Actually, IrishLassie, I think that would cause them to work harder and tone down their excessive spending and socializing. If they were under the scrutiny of British, American, Canadian and other hard-working Anglophone countries' press corps, then you'd better believe that someone would have seriously called them out for their useless lifestyle. And if it is reported in especially British or American press, then it normally gets picked up in non-English speaking countries, too. She gets more of a free pass from the Aussie press because she is considered by them to be "Our Mary" (more by the press than by the people, it would seem). The press need her to be that in order for her to sell mags and papers. I'm sure Aussie press would be more critical if she was from another English-speaking country than Australia.
But you are right about one thing - whether the press was critical or not, Mary would be a MONSTER if she had the press pull of Kate Middleton.

She already is a monster. I watch her and her sick antics and wonder all the time why she is so arrogant?

She overcompensates for what she feels is a less than worthy background by acting like she's better than everyone else. She's a psychiatrist's dream. Welcome to RD!

She's so ungraceful walking up that hill, even without the trip. When she gets back home, she reverts to her old bogan ways.
Walking like Sasquwatch!
