Hello all,

I was wondering if it would improve this section, if we made subsections - for instance one for Kate and William, one for news and so on. What do you think?

Kate, Willy and the Middleton as a section would be a good idea  Thumb up

I actually don't mind it as is, but separate sections for QEII, Charles/Camilla and Wills/Waity each with subsections might be nice too.

Either way...I love this forum   Thumb up

It could be organised in a more structured manner.
The posts in this British section are very mixed up.  For example, look at the topics discussed under Waity's Eyeliner?
It seems people do have lots of opinions on British Royals.  Will this popularity continue?  That is the question.
Also, what is the allowed discussion on private citizens like James, Carole and Michael Middleton?

I don't know if separate sections for EII and Charles/Camilla are practical as 99.99% of the threads are about Kate, the Middletons or William.
I agree that the sub-forum is very cluttered and organising it would be a great idea but I have no idea what could be an efficient division.

Yes please Maria, so many threads are being lost and so new ones are added when they belong to another wider thread. I've been thinking this for a while but it's not my forum so I didn't think of suggesting anything.

Maybe the categories could be;

QEII & Duke of Edinburgh
Charles and Camilla
William
Kate & the Middletons (I'd hate the Middleton's to get their own category, Kate should shoulder that burden )
Harry
Other Royals (Andrew, Anne, Edward, Beatrice, Eugenie, Louise, James, Zara, Peter, Richard, Edward, Michael & Alexandra)
Royal Activities
Royal Announcements (including weddings, expectant births, divorces, titles etc)

I know that seems like a lot of categories but the British Royal Family is big and they do generate a lot of news and articles. Anything related to news or features could fit under the corresponding person and their category.

Just my suggestions, feel free to use or ignore as you wish Smiley

I suggest these sections, and within them everything from photos to news could be posted. I think separate news sections can create too much overlap.

QEII & DoE
Charles & Camilla
Duke & Duchess of Cambridge
The Yorks
Diana
Other royals

I'm with Tatty. Kate should share the Middleton Maniac section. It's better this way since in case William gets divorced, you won't need to reorganize the articles.  Icecream

What DM said  Smiley

I think lots of subsections would be just as cumbersome for you and Thomas in the longterm. How about a William/Kate/Harry/Chelsy/Middletons section and a general BRF section for everyone else.  Yes

Or group "them" under Not Born Royal.... that would be a catch all for the lot.
