Galuh,  Mary was singing the Aussie anthem.  " Advance Australia Fair ".
As for the Starmakers bit she didn't have " star " quality then and she still doesn't now, and never will !!!
she sang that IN PUBLIC Yikes  no wonder Fred as danish CP didn't look please what she did. Thanks Ronda  Star

Galuh, I felt awful hearing her sing my national anthem as I felt sorry for the danes. She is really an idiot
and has no class or clue. She should only ever get emotional enough to sing the danish anthem. Poor fred !!
  For you too Star

Her lies are hitting her in the face, she tried to down play the Starmakers and her obvious reason to do it was because she had met Fred!!

Yep, IMRIC there is another interview where she is asked about it and she denied it there too.

Frankly I never understood why she denied Starmakers. There's plenty of evidence on the web that shows she did go there with the most obvious being the photographs, followed by the articles re the DRF and Teresa Page threatening legal action.

It's interesting that this video has emerged though. I wonder why now? It's not as though this is the first time Mary's attendance at Starmakers has become public knowledge....

“Ah, the 'grooming school' I supposedly went to,” she says with more than a hint of exasperation. “The whole idea that I went to a school of grooming, learning how to walk, learning how to say, 'How do you do'. That didn't happen. I heard that I went to some military school of etiquette.”

There are also old articles confirming that Mary/DRF threatened legal action, although I'm guessing Mary signed a disclaimer at the time (such a sharp legal mind  Roll Eyes ) which is why they probably didn't pursue it.

"Mary left more electronic footprints at StarMaker Studios, a Sydney new-age glamorisation and self-development business run by actor, model and "spiritual intelligence" teacher Teresa Page.

Page's video diaries of Mary, who signed up for the studio's $1200 StarQuest program in November 2000, reveal a very different creature to the restrained royal who now waves stiffly from yachts and limousines.

Back then, Mary was a curvy size 14 and can be seen wiggling her hips and clumping clumsily through catwalking classes. She pouts bra-lessly during a photo shoot and pretends to be the author of a book called Why Women Should Rule the World while being tested on her improvisation abilities.

Mary and Page got on well but have since fallen out and exchanged pseudo-legal letters over the teacher's plan to release the footage to 60 Minutes."

And...

"Mary is proud of her Australian heritage - decorating her home north of Copenhagen with a kangaroo garden statue and other Australian furnishings - but she appears determined to keep images and stories of her life before Frederik buried.

One of the first letters she penned on her crisp insignia-topped palace parchment following her wedding was to a Sydney-based personal development guru. Instead of a heartfelt thankyou for tuition in self-expression and confidence, it was a polite demand that Teresa Page remove all record of her from the Starmaker Studios website (www.starmakers.com.au).

Page, who instructed Mary for seven weeks in 2001 - three months after her famous meeting with the prince - acceded to the request. Photographs taken when Mary had fuller cheeks, hips and cleavage, and a rambling testimonial written when she was just plain old Mary Donaldson, were removed as they were not in keeping with her new image. In the testimonial Mary wrote: "What I have experienced - much and varied. Probably one of the strongest elements is the connection between mind and body, not only that a connection exists but how to develop it and work it to your advantage. As an absolute novice, I walk away with the understanding and appreciation of the industry and the requisite tools and techniques to progress in the industry. And one final thing, it was delivered from an experienced experience. Thank you. Mary Donaldson."

The move was part of the campaign by the Sydney real estate agent and the Danish royal palace to erase records of the journey Mary took to becoming a crown princess.

From day one, friends and family were instructed, via email, not to spill the beans on her past. Her brief fling with Sydney Swans footballer Ryan O'Keefe just weeks before she met her future husband was kept under wraps until it was revealed in a gossip column after the wedding. So was her seven-year live-in relationship with Melbourne spin doctor Brent Annells."

A very close friend of mine played football with a guy who claims to have slept with Mary prior to Fred and also claims that "she is a dud root". For non Australian's that means that she doesn't perform well in the bedroom. I wonder if this Ryan O'Keefe is the same footballer, or if he is one of many?? I will try and find out  Laugh bounce

About singing the Australian anthem she did It on purpose to let everyone knows she still love Australia because she isn't here to represent DK but to represent Mary she's the star of her own Mary show and is trying to maximise this royal tour for bettering the Mary brand

I just watched the clip...and noted that she sung a bit of the Australian anthem...question?...is she "allowed" to do that, while representing her country: DENMARK?

(I know that official representatives stand up and pay respect when the host's anthem is played, but they never sing it, even if they should know the words. Same with the language e.g. I know Merkel speaks some Russian and English, but when visiting respective countries, her official speeches are done in German)
